Absolutely horrible!! I went to Dr. Alam for my first pregnancy. During the appointment and husband and I thought it was odd that she was talking about anything and everything BUT my pregnancy. It was so odd. When I would try to bring the conversation back to my pregnancy (the reason I was there) she made comments like, "well, we will wait and see" and "I am hopeful." Then she made the comment, "I'm sorry this couldn't be a happy visit." When we asked her why, she again didn't say anything and started talking about how my pregnancy is still early but she is "hopeful." NEVER said one word about something being wrong. We felt so uncomfortable with her and her lack of caring that we switched hospitals and physicians. My next appointment was a month later with my new doctor. At that appointment I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage. We were absolutely devastated. I then went into MyChart and read the notes about my first appointment with Dr. Alam. Basically, it was noted that although my baby had a heartbeat, it was a very weak and faint heartbeat and it would likely end in demise. It was then clear to me that Dr. Alam KNEW that I would miscarry and instead of discussing anything with us she just completely avoided and dodged the entire conversation. She clearly didn't even care to inform me of MY medical situation. She also never even bothered to test my HCG levels which again shows she knew what would happen and failed to discuss it properly with me, her patient.

Dr. Alam did what no one else even tried to do-she tried every single thing she knew to help me feel better and absolutely succeeded. If it weren't for her, I'd still be miserable. She's definitely one of the best!

Excellent care overall. Dr Alam was very caring, answered all my questions. Everybody in the office were also very friendly.
