I was referred to Dr. Shah for my migraine headaches. She offered me no new insight or information. She ordered no new tests. She wrote me a prescription for a medication that I told her I had previously tried for a year with no results, and lastly she told me to come back in one year. She made me feel like she didn't think my problem was really a problem.

I've had only one visit with her so far but in this initial visit I found her to be professional, knowledgeable, attentive to my history and concerns, careful and thorough in her examination of me, and thoughtful and helpful in the plan she proposed for improving my health.

She asked me about my migraines, and proceeded to ignore everything I told her. She perscribed a med which I had a severe allergic reaction to. I called her and the hospital sent her records of my stay, but she refused to return my call and pretended to not know what I was talking about. She perscribed a second medication, which I also had an allergic reaction to, and AGAIN she never returned my calls. She was over an hour late for our second appointment, and fobbed it off on her car being in the shop. NO excuse in a town that's 7 miles from end to end. She pretends to listen, but never hears what I say. She has no time for her patients, and no care for their needs. Stay away from this woman!

The first twenty minutes of my appointment with Dr. Shah were spent listening to her talk on both her office phone and her cell phone. There are certain things one cannot say on this site, however I would urge reviewers to heed a warning that their confidentiality may not be protected. On another note, hardly any questions were asked by Dr. Shah (fairly alarming considering my PCP wanted me tested for MS), my history was not reviewed, and I was rushed out the door and felt treated as though I was unimportant.

I requested that my records be sent to me. They were filled with misinformation about me as though the doctor had confused me with another patient. She said I was previously a heavy drinker. I have never been a heavy drinker. She said I complained about a pain in my limb. I have never had a pain in my limb. The pain is in my neck. She said that I thought I had Parkinson's disease. NO, I told her I had had parkinsonism induced by medication. She also denied my previous diagnosis of neuropathy without ever examining me or looking at a single mri or ct scan of my neck. She claimed I had fibromyalgia without doing any diagnostic workup to arrive at that conclusion. She did examine two brain scans and noted evidence of MS. She said she would do an MS workup, but never did.
