More interested in his share holdings than his patients well being. Caused medical misadventure perforated bowel and bladder. Did not have courtesy to apologise.

I love Howard ! I’ve been seeing him since I was a teenager and he has birthed my singletons and twins he’s fabulous I wouldn’t feel comfortable with anyone else he’s really relaxed knows his stuff and has a wicked bed side manor which I love !!

I unfortunately saw this Dr as my own gynecologist was away. I was recovering from a serious relapse from a neurological illness. I had trouble walking. Upon seeing me walk unsteadily across the waiting room, he laughed and asked me if I thought that I was in the orthopedic outpatients. I was both hurt and annoyed. I then had to endure him replacing my ring pessary. He did not talk to me during the procedure and gave me no warning when he removed it which made it far more uncomfortable than it usually was. I have seen multiple medical professionals due to my illness but he is the only one who made me feel vulnerable and unsafe. Enough said.

I have seen Howard multiple times for smear tests and colposcopys. He always makes me feel very relaxed and like a real human. He is just awesome.

Although I only gave 3 stars for punctuality I believe this was due to circumstances out of Howards control. My whole experience with Howard and his staff were excellent. I was shown nothing but kindness and care from all who attended to me. Huge thanks and appreciation to you all.

Howard gets the most complicated cases.He saved my life in 2003, I was 28 and had a tumor on my cervix.He is quirky,brilliant and sometimes 'a bit of a Dick'.Wonderful human.

I appreciated that he was mostly patient, kind and gave me the time of day. Didn't accomplish a lot and by the last time i saw him he had given up, lost interest in trying to help me and his patience and care had run out. So not very helpful, but at least he tried. Gynaecologists in Wellington seem to generally be condescending and don't respect young patients. Could've been worse, I'm sure he's helpful to those of a slightly older demographic than 20s.

Howard was by OB for my first miscarriage, and then subsequent first baby. He was also the OB who delivered me- goes to show how long he’s been in the game. Yes he’s casual and pretty direct but I loved that, because I was also direct and casual too. It worked really really well! Would trust him with anything. I was gutted I couldn’t use him for my second baby as I was in a different district.
