Dr. Potter used to work in Marquette MI he is the best Dr. I have ever had I miss him now I have a rude and very ignorant one he is the only Dr who took me seriously and if anyone has had a problem with him it is probably their fault he took care of me for free when I had no insurance he even helped me get my insurance and SSI because my Crohn's has left me disabled because for years every other dr refused to take me seriously I wish i could drive all the way to IL so he could be my Dr again he is very helpful and has an excellent bed manner one of the best Dr's I have had and I have been to U of M and many other GI's I miss him terribly.

For a western medical doctor he was very open and respectful of my natural and holistic lifestyle choices and approaches to healing and over all wellness. He is an educated doctor, familiar with CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine, who I will continue to see as he offers a partnership in healthcare choices so few doctors in the the Bloomington Normal area. He appreciates a well informed patient and is not intimidated by it as many doctors can be.

Dr. Potter was very late to our consultation and compensated by hurrying through it. He was always unclear, barreling through technical info with jargon I couldn't even understand (and I'm in nursing school). He never contacted me with results from my endoscopy, and I had to follow up independently twice and am still unclear on what I should do about my gastritis. Very frustrating experience with no improvement in my condition. He even said I should continue my medication for a month but only gave me a prescription for 10 days worth. AND my stomach still hurts! Only good thing to say is that the nurses overseeing my endoscopy were absolutely awesome. To bad they don't work with a better physician.
