I 'inherited' Dr Acland when my previous GP passed away, and she is the best GP I have ever had. I am nearly 71, so been through a few GPs and outlived a number of them! She takes as long as necessary with each patient, hence the four stars for punctuality, but I am happy with that.

She is up to date with the latest research, but always willing to listen to new ideas and research -- I was/am a scientist by profession and still do my own research. I cannot understand the other review giving her a one for knowledge and helpfulness, they must have the wrong doctor!

Given that she is a fair bit younger than me, barring accidents she will be my chosen GP for the rest of my life.

I found Dr Acland to be very unhelpful and not caring. She dismissed my concerns, symptoms and did not address them and asked for unnecessary tests which made me incur in unnecessary costs. I will not be returning to see her.

I have been seeing Dr Acland for about 1 year since she joined gpEast. I have always found her to be extremely helpful, thorough and knowledgable on a wide variety of subjects.
