I have seen Dr.Murphy for over 15years with chronic pain, and I might enter crying but I always walk out reassured and hopeful. Time and time again his treatments have worked, and it is of its nature a chronic condition so you are talking control versus cure. Karen, his secretary is a joy. Thanks-Anne

I’ve had multiple treatments with other pain doctors but never really felt any relief. Dr Murphy diagnosed the problem & recommended a treatment. Although I’d had a similar treatment with other doctors before and no benefit I decided to give it one last go. I’m so glad I did, I was brought in very quickly, his theatre staff were so friendly & efficient and most importantly I got fantastic pain relief! I’m going to tell all of my friends, just different class to all of the other so called pain docs out there. Better than 5 stars! Peter

I booked an appointment with Dr Murphy for my mother who is 85 y o
She has been with severe back pain and restricted mobility.
I rang the receptionist and she was very cold on the phone and got an appointment for Friday at 11 am.
After 2 weeks she rang me on Thursday just one day before the appointment to change it to next Monday as Dr Murphy has meeting!
She told me that he can see us the Monday after the weekend at 10:30.
I went with my mother who is barely able to walk with support to St Vincent private.
Even before asking my mother’s name she said no her appointment is at 3:10 .she was very rude and not polite at all.
She said you rang me to change the appointment which is very strange .
Then she said and I have no other appointment until July.
I left her room to talk to my mother ,she slammed the door after me,it was really odd attitude.
I have never experienced something like that .
I work in medical field for 30 years now and we should have the empathy before the sympathy to show our patients.
Unfortunately didn’t get to see Sr Murphy and I am so disappointed

Dr. Paul Murphy is a brilliant pain management specialist. I would not be able to function without his help. He listens attentively and you really feel he understands the pain you are experiencing. The staff around him in theatre are all so friendly and calming and I have never felt left out or not in the room, like some other specialists who would talk over you. His receptionist Karen is also a very caring person and will always listen and try to give you an appointment as soon as possible. I would be lost without Paul and his team. Thank you

Paul Murphy is a real Norman person who makes you feel very calm because he is so down to earth and humble. I am 22 years in chronic pain and Mr Murphy has been that one doctor that I felt listened Patiently to me snd I have 100% confidence in him.

Superb pain management doctor. Immediately diagnosed a problem I had been to see multiple doctors with, one injection later, I’m back to normal.
