To the person leaving a comment on Dec. 31, 2014: Dr. Rad is a pedodonist, not an orthodontist. I completely agree with everything you stated. I just wanted to say that after going to numerous other dentists regarding our daughter's teeth problems, we were hopeless about fixing her teeth. Then, we met some parents who recommended Dr. Rad. We gave him a chance and he delivered 100%. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr. Rad.

I have been going to Dr. Rad since I was a kid...he has always provided my sister and I with excellent service and paid attention to many details that other dentists have missed. He works in a way that you don't feel pain since he is quick, accurate, and provides you with many distractions like movies and video games...i would highly recommend this place...service is fast and he doesn't over-charge or try to bloat his fees which makes me trust him...I've told multiple friends to take their kids here and have always heard positive experiences from them all hands down

My wife and I were extremely cautious about looking for an orthodontist with a long established practice with no negative marks on his/her license (first child). We found Dr. M.T. Rad. The staff, the atmosphere, the cool decor, and the doctor himself were such pleasant surprises that really took the sting out of the whole experience for all of us. Highly recommend and we would not think of anyone else to take our baby to.

After switching a few dentists for my 3 year old daughter, we were referred to Dr. Rad. For some reason, my daughter did not like being seen by the other dentists... maybe because their staff were not the friendliest, their atmosphere was not very warm and welcoming and the doctor himself was not very engaging and kind. Doctor Rad and his staff have surpassed our expectations in this regard and my daughter actually looks forward to visiting with Dr. Rad. She feels very comfortable with him and looks forward to receiving stickers and exploring the treasure chest for toys after her visit. Most importantly, doctor Rad is extremely knowledgeable and answers all our questions with utmost care. I can't begin to describe how grateful and blessed I feel for finding Dr. Rad and can't imagine ever taking my daughter anywhere else.

I took my kid as a new patient, my child had awful experiences with two other (as they claimed child specialist) and we had awful experience with them . Thanks God I have found one of the best pedodontist in Southern California . Dr. Rad is the most kind and patient doctor I have encountered with, as well as his staff who helped me with my problematic insurance and managing my fearful child . I havetwo other kids that I have plan to take them there . Now I understand why media nominated doctor Rad as " TOP DENTIST" . His knowledge and experience with kids is PRICELESS . Dr. Rad is a child specialist , I have been going there sine 2008, I had a very bad experience with my daughter at a General dentist I didn't want to take my son with a regular dentist , so I asked my family dentist where I should take him , she gave me Dr.Rad's number I couldn't be more pleased ! I love that when my son has a dental appointment he goes in there all by himself and he's 8 now my daughter is 18 and still wants me present when she goes to the dentist , in my opinion every child acts very different in the presence of their parents , some parent do more harm to the child then they realize !!! You need to teach your child to be very independent at a very young age !!! Dr. Rad is the best Child specialist in the valley !!!

We have been going to Dr. Rad for the past 15 years and we are very happy and pleased with their services. The staff as well as Dr. Rad are very friendly, Professional and caring. All my three children ages 5, 14 and 16 are actually look forward to going to the dentist and always listen to Dr. Rad's recommendations for their dental hygiene.

I took my child to this dentist two weeks ago. They refused to let me in the room with my kid. Whe my child came out she said the dr. Hit her on the head and told her to shut up. I won't be taking her there any more. Parents please don't let your kids go alone in there with someone you don't know.

I have a 6 year old, 5, and 3 year old. Before coming to Dr. Rad we went to another children's dentist in Woodland Hills and we always felt rushed and the other Dentist did not take care to make my children feel comfortable and coddle them but just quickly as possible clean their teeth even missing cavities. One of my children cries and is resistant to dental work and about 4 or 5 dentist said that my child would need to be sedated under anesthesia in order to have a cavity filled. Dr. Rad is the only dentist we came across who is able to fill cavities without anesthesia. It takes a ton if skill and patience and hard work to fill a cavity when a child is resistant and he is the only one willing to do so. Dr. rad is also the kindest and most gentle person you will ever meet. He is passionate about helping children. He genuinely cares and has a great heart. He will not rush your child but take all the time that is necessary to ensure that your child is at ease.

I cannot state how grateful I am to Dr. Rad and his staff. I have a, what do you call it, "problem child." He DOES NOT like dentists. I don't know how, but Dr. Rad had us in and out without a single scream. His office is so fun that my son wanted to go to the other room to check out the toys there. This place is a kid's heaven. He specializes in kids, so he really knows how to deal with them. His staff was also very courteous and helpful. Cheers Dr. Rad.
