I almost never review things, but I"m making an exception in this case. I had a major rupture in my Achilles Tendon and got to Dr. Kwee through the "luck of the draw" at Peace Arch Emergency and consider I won the lottery. He was very knowledgeable and very patient in explaining the options and the treatments. I actually looked forward to my followup visits. If you get this doctor as your orthopedic specialist, consider yourself lucky.

Dr. Jeffrey Kwee is GOD's gift to me. Afterclose to 7 years post-MVA and seeing several other Orthho. Surgeons I asked my G.P. for a referral to him as he was 'GOD's gift' to a dear friend of mine. He 'released' the 'squished nerves' at the metatarsal area of my R-foot in the first surgery and I was nerve-pain free!! He waited to see how the foot settled, however, since I had walked on it since Sept. 2007 he had to do the 2nd surgery which was end April, 2015. I followed his advice, rehab'd and 'am living the 'new normal' life now! I also had opportunity to consult with his father - another 'gift to humankind from GOD'!! True blessings!!

My mother had 2 knee replacements and I had a Mortons Neuroma removed by Dr. Kwee. My mother absolutely loves Dr. Kwee and believes he is an Angel. He was gentle and kind with her, explaining in details the procedures and what to expect in the outcome.
A gentle soul with a heart of a Lion he is an absolute genius and master in his field. I could not have asked for more in a Doctor, one who is gentle, kind and thorough in his practice.

I suffered through 2 achilles tears. Dr. Kwee made a difficult time much easier. He went above and beyond what was required in terms of investing his time to ensure I healed effectively. I saw Dr. Kwee on follow-up appointments more than I've ever seen my family doctor.

Because of this, as well as his knowledge and skill, I trusted him throughout the process. When dealing with the difficulties of a serious injury (including inevitable setbacks), this trust makes the hole process so much easier.

I highly recommend Dr. Kwee and can't thank him enough for his skill and attention.

Dr. J. Kwee does a fantastic job of hearing out his patients concerns and explain in a clear concise what his thoughts are and what his plan is. On the day of my appointment he was running behind schedule, however, I appreciated that he took extra time with his patients to make sure that everything has been clearly understood and that all of the patients concerns have been met. It was a good experience.

I am a retired orthopedic RN, and recent patient having gone through shoulder surgery, I have nothing but high praise for Dr Jeff. He is a very gentle and caring, skilled and knowledgable surgeon. He walked me through the procedure making sure I was totally informed as to what he planned to do. At the followup appointments he went over what it was he did and explained thoroughly so I had a greater understanding of what had transpired. I was most diligent with my exercising knowing this would speed up my recovery..... Thanks Dr Jeff!

Dr.J Kwee, is wonderful doctor, and has a great energy. He takes his time to explain everything to make sure you're comfortable and understand the information he is giving you. He listens and takes the time to address any concerns you may have. In January I received my first hip replacement and come September I will be getting the other replaced, I have no worries or concerns about my surgery as I know that with Dr. Kwee preforming it I am in the best most capable hands. He also took the time to address my daughters concerns and on a few that he agreed with her he explained to me where her concerns were coming from. He is an extremely caring and thorough surgeon.
