Dr. Clifford Moodley became my doctor when Dr. Ross retired. I knew Dr. Ross would not have chosen Dr. Clifford Moodley to take over his patients if he was not knowledgeable, capable, caring and good with people. Dr. Clifford Moodley is all of that and more. I am very happy with how caring and concerned Dr. Clifford Moodley is and how he is on top of my medical concerns.

Dr Moodley is a wonderful doctor. He takes time to listen to your concerns and offers realistic feedback. He is also great at referring you if the issue warrants it. He has been my doctor for about 3/4 years now and I, and my husband, are very happy!

After being passed from one doctor to the next for years, our family had the incredible fortune of finding Dr. Clifford Moodley. He was the best doctor we ever had-kind, patient, an excellent listener and thorough with any medical matter we had. We were so grateful we had finally found a young doctor we trusted that our family could hold onto and for our kids to grow up with (having just lost my mother to an incident of medical negligence, trust was critical for our family). However, to our shock and sadness, Dr Moodley announced he was going away for a couple years, but that he would be back. Teary with disappointment, I asked him to take us back when he returned. He said we wouldn't need him by then, but promised he would. Meanwhile, we were forwarded to Dr Sohan Mansingh, who turned out to be another fantastic doctor, but then he left shortly thereafter. Once again, we were forwarded to a new doctor, Dr Gurguis, but after seeing him on a couple occasions, I realised we were not a good fit. I did not bring my family in to see him, and discontinued further consultations with him. Not long after that, I heard that Dr Moodley was back in town (about 3 years after his departure). I was absolutely ecstatic and called immediately to set up an appointment to pick up where we left off. No such luck. Apparently, Dr Moodley was not taking on any former patients. I pleaded with the administration to ask him to reconsider given our discussion before he left. Still no. I send as message to his brother, Dr Nateeran Moodley, who I had also seen on occasion. No response. I wondered if perhaps he just didn't remember us, the family that used to bring him eggs from our farm as a small token of our appreciation for having him in our lives...Nonetheless, we continued to see one walk-in clinic doctor after the other for some time after that. Putting my hurt feelings aside and not wanting to give up, my husband and I went into Mark Medical today to see if there was any hope of getting back with Dr. Moodley. None. We were told that because he changed practices, all ties to former patients were cut. We spoke to the office manager, but it was a lost cause. No wait list, and no chance to even speak to Dr. Moodley. We left feeling completely discarded. So Dr. Moodley, if you ever read this, just know how much you meant to us, and we tried very hard to get you back. I only wish you felt the same about your former patients, like the Watkins family.

I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Clifford Moodley as my GP. I have been going through some diagnostic challenges over the past year and he always takes the time to listen and explore different tests. He is also very good at ensuring referrals to specialists are done in a timely manner. The staff are extremely helpful as well. I have had numerous appointments and normally wait only a few minutes. It is so refreshing to feel like a valued partner in your health and that you have an opinion that matters. I highly recommend him as a GP and Mark Medical as a professional well-run office.
