He did knee arthroplasty on both my legs. He is a very skilled surgeon. He listened to all my needs, concerns, and decisions. He and his staff are very nice and caring. I am lucky to have had him do my surgeries and very grateful to be able to walk, sit and stand again without being in excruciating pain.

He is an excellent surgeon and answers my detailed questions. I like that.

His staff is not strong. Voicemails requesting returned call with my questions were not returned and my three post surgery consultation meetings with him were all late (one was 65 mins late).

Booking nurse is terrible. When you call the office you never get a real person, just a message basically telling you not to leave a message. She says she will return your call with 48 hours.Doesnt happen.message never returned. Twice! No one to turn to. Dont go to this office!

I have never encountered a more indifferent, insensitive individual in all my medical experiences (and I have many). Sure, some surgeons can be eccentric and blunt and I can handle that. However there is a difference between being direct and being rude and unkind (I wish I could post the actual words I'd use to describe this less than gentlemanly man). I would go so far as to say if I knew this doctor was my only option I would likely be seeking to obtain antidepressants since according to him I basically have no hope for my condition. I'm not expecting a doctor to tell me that everything will be wonderful but I do expect a doctor to have empathy and not act like a spoiled silver spooned brat. Doctors can be honest and provide you with probabilities and research based facts, I get that. However Dr. Batuyong there are human beings sitting in front of you looking for your guidance and you would be well served to remember that. To lack the initiative to provide help in the form of options (whether viable or not, in your opinion) is to cease to be a medical practitioner at all.

I first met DR Batuyong when I needed emergency surgery on my hip. I had waited and many doctors said I had a tight performs muscle. E
What it really was a desolved hip one. I was an emional wreck, having to come in through emergency. Dr . Batuyong was very kind and supportive.. Snice then I have has two knee replacements. He calls a spade a spade, but in a kind way. His support staff are very special, always can answer questions or get an answer. Dr. Batuyong is an amazing Dr., thoughtful, caring and takes the time to explain whatever procedure he is doing. His staff are friendly, warm and always there to listen to your concerns, always with a smile.
