Dr. Pollaccia saw an infection that was missed by another oral surgeon, showing me that Dr. Pollaccia was very observant! He's a nice doctor, and did a good job in removing (at different times) 2 teeth (one was a molar, and one was a wisdom tooth). In the case of the infected molar, there was a nerve in the area, so I had to beg him for MORE of the local anesthesia (injected). Then, it still hurt a LOT, while he was trying to extract (pull out) the tooth, so, with my husband there, giving me moral support, I said to Dr. Pollacia--let me yell/scream, while I hold my hubby's hand. Dr. Pollacia agreed (shut the door to not scare patients in the waiting room). The result was I was able to bear the short-lived pain a lot better, by not having to hold back the screams. Then, as soon as the tooth was out, I said--"See, that wasn't so bad, was it, Dr. Pollacia?" He's a great oral surgeon, and I would see him again, for any tooth surgeries!

Dr. Pollaccia did an emergency extraction of an infected upper molar for me. I have had three teeth pulled in the last year, by three different dentists. By FAR, Dr. Pollaccia's was the easiest, and by far, the most complicated and infected. I will be returning to him for dental implants, as well as for my two teenager's wisdom teeth removal. Nice man, very straightforward, and knows what he's doing.

Staff is unfriendly. You show up and they make you stand before them while they all talk on the phone. They could at the very least hold a hand over the mouth piece and say "I'll be with you shortly". Instead they just make you stand there. I waited over 20 minutes in a room to have stitches removed and finally left as I had another meeting scheduled an hour after my appointment. Called me at home to tell me he was in the room 4 minutes after my appointment! His wife sent me an email informing me that I'd been terminated as a patient!!! I'm quite certain that when I walked out it was an indication of who terminated who! Very unprofessional!

We waited an hour in Dr Pollaccia's waiting room before seeing him. A lady came out in the waiting room and moved both me and my daughter out of chairs because the chairs were touching the curtains and they might break. The lady sitting next to me commented that it was the rudest thing she had ever seen. We were approached to make an upfront financial commitment, with signatures, 3 times before meeting Dr. Pollaccia. He was nice and professional when we met him but by the time we were able to see him I couldn't wait to get out of there.
