Had me go for tests after my operation and scheduled me for a follow-up appointment/consult. Neither he nor his assistant/receptionist showed up that day. Has never contacted me. Never again, Never Southake!

Dr. Payne is a model for physicians and surgeons; brilliant skill set and one of the nicest people you may have the pleasure of working with. Hands down one of the most gifted doctors we've ever had. His work on our child was perfect and he made the experience for the parents easy and confident. His approach of informing us every step along the way of how the procedure would take place ensured that we understood what would happen, and then his follow up had us feel like we were so very well taken care of. This is a 5-star experience!

Dr. Payne performed our then-1-month old son's circumcision by Plastibell technique in Newmarket Ontario in June 2017. He was kind and funny but very professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to answer all our questions and allowed me to watch the entire procedure and even hold my son's hands through the whole thing. He did an absolutely perfect job. There were no complications and he healed in 5 days. We would recommend him to anyone.

Best bedside manner that I have ever encountered by a specialist. I visited Dr Payne for a consult in March 2017. Dr Payne determined that I needed surgery and made the effort to get me in for surgery within 2 days (on a weekend). He explained all options and procedures thoroughly and ensured that both I and my wife were comfortable with all procedures and follow-up care and I never felt rushed through my questions. I would (and have) highly recommend this doctor.

Best possible experience from a standpoint of both demeanor and thoroughness. All questions answered honestly, patiently and comprehensively-a physician who treats the emotional management aspects of health concerns as well as simply the physical. Offered both short and long term prognosis, condition management options and best recommendations moving forward inspiring confidence and a true sense of being cared for by a capable professional. OHIP bashing physicians take note-Apparently such things are possible after all in a public health care system.

I saw Dr Payne for a consult last week. Very professional and knowledgable. Would recommend him to all of my friends and family. Takes his job very seriously but is not afraid to joke and laugh to put you at ease.

My son saw Dr. Payne recently for a pediatric urology consult. He is truly a wonderful young doctor with a brilliant career ahead. Effervescent, super knowledgeable and enthusiastic, Dr. Payne made a real sincere effort to make my son comfortable before his exam. Dr. Payne is temperamentally suited to treating young patients and his bedside manner is impeccable. I have very rarely had specialists of any kind introduce themselves to me by shaking my hand, but Dr. Payne did and for that alone I am very impressed by his professionalism.

Dr. Payne performed my vasectomy in Newmarket and it was the most painless, easy medical procedure I'd ever had. His skills and bedside manner are superb.
