Dr. Stein pushes off-label puberty blockers (like Lupron) for kids. Their prolonged use will sterilize them. His approach is based on anti-science gender ideology that began in Sweden/Finland/UK and is now being abandoned there because it causes more harm than good.
We truly like Dr. Stein and with the info he is given does his best to deal with my child’s heath issues. I think he knows his stuff and recommend him.

We had a medical appointment with Dr Stein, which we drove over two hours to see him. His student resident was much more welcoming than him. He came in for 5 minutes and made us feel like we knew nothing at all as parents regarding our own child. I am in the field of early intervention and work with children and families and I would never treat my clients like he did. He brushed us off and pretty much pushed medication for my four year old daughter without discussing alternative options. Thank goodness for second opinions! Word of advice trust your own instinct as a parent and not someone who seems like a “know it all.”

I have been seeing dr Stein for 13 years and I am very disappointed with him. He is very cold person. And makes me feel very crappy about myself. I do not like him. He disappoints me. I want to talk to him more then the students but I talk to him for 2 mins and the other ones for the rest of the time.

We love Dr. Stein. he is truly in the right field. Not only is he very knowledgeable and up to date, he is also very caring and kind. No ego either which is hard to find in a doctor. He is great with our daughter and with us. Dr. Stein and his team are second to none. We are very blessed to have him!

My son has been seeing Dr Stein for 7 years and he and his staff are amazing. I couldn't imagine a different endo treating my kiddo. He is so knowledgable and always available for anything we need. He is one of the reasons we stay in this city. We know from hearing from our friends who use different endos for their kids that we have it made with him and his staff. I love them all.
