PLEASE DONT WAIT! End your suffering W/ Dr Mok! I had suffered from Spinal Stenosis for 4 years and I came across Dr Mok. I believe everything happens for a reason and the 4 years I lost was worth every second of pain to have landed in Dr Moks care! Day of operation I was terrified yet Dr Moks entire team held my hands from the time I was put under to when I woke up free of the pain I had suffered so long. He gave me my life back and that is something I can not thank him enough for!

I had lumbar surgery in May and I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Mok. The surgery was pretty extensive and my 4th spine surgery, although it is taking time to heal, I definitely feel I am on the right track

I had my first visit with Dr. M.Mok today. I was impress with his professionalism and caring spirit !!! To fine a physician like him is very difficult !!! I went to him for a second opinion, but after meeting with him he would be my choice to perform my surgery!!

How care before and after the surgery. Im suffer for devastating pain for one year with medication to the strong one , and other condition to my body suffer for how bad my neck are. Dr. Mok finally gave me an explanation for something that had been a problem for me for 5 years! (And he *wasn't* the first ortho surgeon I saw.) He was VERY knowledgeable, willing to answer questions, prudent in his recommendations (not at all someone who fits the stereotype that surgeons always want to cut), and he treated me like an intelligent adult who could understand things relevant to my case. The only thing I dislike about Dr. Mok is that I'm moving out of Chicagoland and won't be able to see him in the future.

Dr. Mok saved my life... After two failed back surgeries in Dec 2013 and Feb 2014 done at a NW Indiana hospital by a Merrillville Neurosurgeon, I was unable to walk without a walker or even sit up for more than 10 minutes. The Neurosurgeon offered me a pain pump or a neuro stimulating device to control the pain. My wife is a nurse and insisted on a second opinion and Dr. Mok did a third surgery (a spinal fusion) on April 16 2014. He explained it would be a long recovery (as I had contracted a osteomyelitis of the spine from the two previous surgeries at a NW Indiana hospital). After 6 months I am almost pain free and enjoying life again. He is a caring doctor and I am included in the medical decisions. I would recommend him to anyone who is suffering from any back problem. I was ready to end my life before I met Dr. Mok. Now I am enjoying life again... LIFE is GOOD!
