The worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. Dr. Gilligan showed very poor beside manner during my one visit. In her notes she make it seem as the patient was irate. When it was her talking down to patient. I believe she's prejudice against people from different backgrounds. I did tell her we're not a match.

I have been seeing Dr. Gilligan for about 6 years and find her excellent. After reading a few of these ratings I have to believe these people are a pain no matter what they do. She is a endo without a thyroid. Who better to know what problems you are having? She is extremely relatable. She has been nothing but great with me and I have been to half the endo doctors in the city.

The worst experience I have ever had with any doctor of any kind. Frankly, so bad that I've found it hard to trust any doctor since she misdiagnosed me as having a very serious illness. I worried so much and it turned out to be for nothing. I feel that doctors who make these kinds of mistakes should have their license revoked and never be allowed to practice again. But they go on making mistakes. If she diagnoses you with anything serious, remember that working at Piedmont is Gilligan's first permanent job after getting her specialty license. She's clumsy and lacks experience.

I've been seeing Dr. Gilligan for a couple of years now and I'm very happy with her and her staff. I've found her to be very professional, a good communjcator, both listening to me and in explaining things completely in understandable terms.

She ordered labs and then and put me on meds for pituitary issues. Dr never told me about the "sick day rules". And changed dosage without info!

When I suffered from alarming side effects from a medication Dr. Gilligan prescribed, I attempted to contact her through her staff member, Tina, and various voicemails on her office machine to no avail. It's rare that anyone answers the phone there, and messages - even medically urgent ones - do not seem to be returned. When I called multiple times in one day, Tina called me back hours later to reprimand me for calling more than once. She was very condescending and said that Dr. Gilligan was busy with patients and my message is "sitting on her desk". Tina further instructed me that she didn't believe the side effects I was suffering from warranted any medical attention anyway, so I should just wait for a return call. However, I spoke to my pharmacist, and he did seem to think my side effects were very serious. Dr. Gilligan's staff showed no professionalism, competence, or compassion for her patients. Further, Dr. Gilligan showed very poor beside manner during my one visit.
