She did not regain consciousness for about two weeks. She improved slowly with nursing care, prayers and meditation. The one and half month in Hinduja hospital was a nightmare and the doctor has been hiding information, treating us like beggars and using foul language. My mother is still under recovery. Never go to this doctor. Better live with the disease by hoping for the best rather than turn a normal person into a handicapped person.

Dr B K Misra is a neurosurgeon, in Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. He was the person who operated on my father's carotid since it had 70% blockage. However, during the operation, he suffered a stroke. To add to this, there was a clot which formed at the operated area, and he had to be operated again on the same day to remove the clot. The doctor is very knowledgeable, but has absolutely NO time to spend on patients. He tries to fit in as many patients in his day as possible. Maybe at the cost of their lives.
