I had Mohs surgery above one of my tear ducts. I didn't know what I was in for and I was very apprehensive though it needed to be done. Dr. Rubin was my plastic surgeon and I am extremely happy with the final result. Even more compelling is that when I speak of the surgery site (that no one ever notices) to doctors and medical personnel, they are quite surprised and tell me its the best result they have ever seen for this type of surgery. For those scaredy cats, like me, this procedure really was a breeze with no lingering pain or anything like that. It will take time to heal but Dr. Rubin will be following up with you and is concerned for you and your recovery. Dr. Rubin and his staff are wonderful and I am thankful I was referred to them.

Immediately following MOHs surgery which removed nearly a third of my lower eyelid, Dr. Rubin performed a very delicate and complicated surgery below my eye and on top of the tear duct to repair the extensive MOHs damage. He took the time during our initial consultation to explain the procedure and the likely outcome, and he answered all of my questions and gave thorough pre- and post-op printed instructions for me to take home. Not only did Dr. Rubin do a superb job repairing my eyelid, there was only minimal bruising after the extensive surgery, and a month after the procedure, the scar was barely visible. Considering the extent of the post-MOHs damage, it us nothing short of remarkable that my two eyes now look virtually identical two months after surgery. I think that Dr. Rubin is an extraordinarily talented and highly competent professional, and I feel very lucky to have entrusted the repair of my eyelid to his skilled hands.

My husband and I waited 3 hours for our appointment, when we finally got in to see Dr. Rubin my visit was only 5 minutes. He wanted to do surgery on my eye, I had so many questions he did not answer. He said to call his assisant. I wanted to get the information from the doctor. I will not go back. Save your self 3 hours and 5 minutes.
