To say Dr Moreau lacks any bedside manner is an understatement. She lacks any and all courtesy and social skills. After being sent away by Dr Moreau in November of 2021, because there was 'nothing wrong' I was advised to call back for the same appointment by recommendation (and the annoyance) of my regular dermatologist, and I eventually saw Dr Moreau for the referred patch test.

During my in-person results appointment, she was nothing short of condescending, rude and abrupt with me. She made me feel like a fool, as if I should know better, and I left her office in tears. I couldn't even say goodbye to the otherwise lovely nurse and residents.

I have only one positive thing to say and it's that once you finally get an appointment, which takes 6-12 months, the office is extremely punctual with their appointments, but I won't give more than a one star rating overall for her horrible behaviour.

Relative to the latest review, I did follow her instructions exactly and did not get better. Sometimes, more aggressive treatment is needed. And asking for a doctor who is minimally kind and empathetic does not mean one needs a shrink - it is a perfectly legit expectation. Not asking for a therapy session, but effective treatment and a lack of a sour expression would be nice. Came back here because a friend was looking for a dermatologist on the south shore and I wanted to check for any new reviews. Will send her to my new derm instead who does give me Kenalog injections when I need them.

If you follow her instructions exactly, you will get better. Extremely professional and competent. If you are looking for a social and a cup of tea and sympathy, none of which will help your condition, I as politely as possible recommend another kind of doctor altogether... :o)

Very cold bedside manner. Refused to give me Kenalog (steroid) injections in stubborn, thick eczema patches when that clearly would have helped much better than creams/ointments. Will not be going back.
