I have been with Dr Robertson for a very long time, and have been unhappy. It takes a long time toget in to see him in the first place, and then you are always left waiting for at least 45 minutes. I never feel that he is taking my concerns seriously. Often, you get more concern and compassion from the nurse and the receptionist than from Dr Robertson. He is always in a rush, and seems to be in a hurry to get out the door. He is very dismissive and makes me feel silly for being concerned. He rarely will refer you on for further tests, and if he does, never follows up. If I make a follow up appointment, I feel like I have to re-explain everything because he doesn't remember. I also feel that he is not very adept at procedures that he should be. His nurse is performing many routine procedures, but if she is unavailable, the doctor does them himself. I found him very rough during a pelvic exam and admitted that he doesn't do them very often. If it were possible, I would go to another doc

DR Scott Robertson leaves you waiting at the clinic for a very long time for your scheduled appointment, this is the norm with the longest wait being 1 1/2 hours. No follow up with results for any work he schedules with the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital or with results from specialist. If you want to know these results you have to call back, ask to book an appointment to see him, hence he charges Health Canada for this appointment with long waiting list to book one. Misdiagnosis, leaves results unchecked hence condition gets worse, not up to date with what is available or the condition its self, find him a pill pusher, only allows patients 'two conditions' to discuss during the appointment which you have been waiting for months to get at the consultation. Had better service and results through a doctor at the after hours clinic who immediately diagnosed the condition made the referral and was seen the next week by the specialist. Dr Robertson has nice staff with him.
