Dr V Rajgopal is an excellent surgeon. He is very knowledgeable , kind and down to earth. I had a total knee replacement and he did an excellent job. I saw him before surgery and after the surgery and he made sure to answer any questions I might have. The staff at the Strathroy hospital were very wonderful and caring.

It wouldn't allow me to give this Doctor a zero!

I saw Dr. Rajgopal 3x and he never physically examined my hip by lying me down on an examination table. He told me it was my back and referred me to a back specialist, and the back specialist in her report said my back was strong and she believed I had bilateral cam morphology(a type of hip impingement). I then had a follow-up with Dr. Rajgopal, who not only dismissed her report, but proceeded to tell me it was chronic pain and was all in my head, and I needed to learn how to deal with it. Thankfully he discharged me after referring me to a Chronic Pain Clinic. Within 2 minutes of examination from a Doctor at the Chronic Pain Clinic I was told I had a femeroacitabular impingement of my hip( the second of both types of impingement you can have). Thankfully I got into the Fowler Kennedy Clinic, and within 19 days had hip surgery. Not only did I end up having both types of hip impingement, but I also had a torn labrum! I am 4 months into a full year recovery and outside of daily post -surgery pain my hip feels sooooo much better. AS A DOCTOR IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING A PATIENT, P L E A S E, DISCHARGE THEM AND LET THEM SEEK THE PROPER CARE ELSEWHERE!

Thanks to Dr V. Rajgopal and the team in Strathroy for a wonderful experience with my knee replacement. Very kind and curious team. Everything went according to the plan any my recovery is currently 1 week ahead of schedule.

3 visits, and each time his response was "I think it's". Never examined my hip once. Sent me to a back specialist who said it was a hip impingement - he ignored her report. Then he sent me to a pain specialist who within 2 minutes said it was a hip impingement and that unfortunately he couldn't help me. Also, first 2x I saw Rajgopal I provided an updated medical note from my physiotherapist who just so happens to teach at UWO as well. My physiotherapist was also confident that as soon as I was on an examination table and he moved my hip he would recognize the problem. That can't be done though when the Doctor himself uses the examination table as his seat. Both times I handed him my physio notes that disproved through physical examination/treatment his "I think it's" response each time I saw him, he set the paper down without even reading it. My car accident was in February of 2020. Now I have a 6 to 9 month wait to see an Orthopedic Surgeon who, fingers crossed will have more concern in regards to my health and treating the injuries. And the icing on the cake?? The pain specialist he sent me to also says I have a torn meniscus in my right knee.

I went to the Strathroy hospital specifically for a Knee replacement. Many people that I spoke to said that I should try to have Dr. V. Rajgopal do the surgery.
I consider myself very lucky to have him do it. I was up and getting around shortly after the surgery and with the physio provided I was mobile in no time at all.
I now have to go back for surgery on my right knee and (what most people may consider strange) I am looking foreward to it.

Great doctor! I had a hip replacement November 2021. I can’t say enough good things about my surgery not only before but after. I seen Dr. Rajgopal before surgery after surgery before going home and three times for follow ups! Thank you for giving me my mobility , and literally my life back! I was in pain from my hip down to my ankle, I would not have made it another month! Keep in mind there is work to do on your part you need to do physio as instructed! Shout out to Stef for setting up appointments to fit around my work schedule! Amazing experience! Thank you for your amazing care , highly recommend Dr. Rajgopal and his team!
