Wait over an hour to be seen... no apology from doctor. His receptionist is clearly worn by having to uphold his excuses... Once told that he drives three hours to work- I need to be on time to my job because people depend on me, I guess he doesn't, for his patients. Wish I could get my copays back- he charges for missed appointments and appointments changed without 24 hours notice, but let's patients sit for over an hour without apology or explanation and I'd you ask me that is in essence changing the appointment time. Also has a very "expert" approach (I have a deggree, so that trumps your experince as the person living with the diagnosis) and expects patients to not question his knowledge (ie, education) and therefore doesn't work as a partner in patient care. Tried to change my treatment plan that has worked for eight years on first appointment, then insisted in the other three apointments, before changing doctors, that I follow his course even after I told him I don't need extra drugs since I maintain in my current scripts successfully. Four appointments was enough for me... My health and time is more valuable than settling for inadequate care because he has a schedule of his own. Good doctors are hard to find, but there are plenty others in the area to explore and I suggest you do.
