I saw her in a hospital so I can not rate her staff. However she ignored my complaints about diabetes medication causing me problems and I ended up in the emergency room with bleeding in my stomach a month later after taking the pills she prescribed.

Dr Hanna is one of the worst Dr. I have ever met. She doesn't let you speak, She thinks she knows it all. My sugar levels spike up to 400 because of cortisone shots. All she did was put me on 3 different insulin and metformin. Nothing brought down my sugar levels. I went back and ask her if I should go to the hospital and she said no it is not necessary unless it is 700 to a 1000. The hospital would not do anything for you. She ask for a journal of my sugar levels and she said I don't need to know what you eat, just the numbers. Even though I am in a strict diet of no carbohydrates, sweets, very little meat and no pork. My sugar levels where always high. Finally I got fed and I went to see my primary doctor, Immediately she put me on a regimen of Lantus and novolog. Wow my sugar level started going down. Anyway on April 28th I had a massive heart attack. My cardiologist said the cause was because my sugar levels where out of control. This could have been prevented if the heartless doctor Fiby Hanna would have listen to me. I give her a score of o stars. I have never met a doctor that says she knows what she is doing but is clueless. I hope people listen and run, Spare yourself from a arrogant wanna be doctor. Who lack bed side manners.

I want to preface this review by saying that I'm not a complainer by nature. Having been put on Medicaid by the ACA, I've ended up in some "interesting" locations in the past to see specialists with less-than-great service, but have always been able to find a silver lining, and in the end, receive the care I needed. I also work in customer service, so I can't stress enough how hard it is to test the endless limits of my patience. That said, my appointments with Dr. Hanna have been hands-down the worst experiences I've ever had with a medical professional. I've been in the hospital twice this summer for a condition resulting from my body producing too much of a specific hormone, for seemingly no reason. In my rush to find an answer, I scheduled an appointment with this disaster of a medical office instead of waiting an extra two weeks to see somebody else. My insurance requires a referral for every new appointment and wait times are at least a month, so let me tell you, I'll be giving myself the middle finger for that decision for a very long time.

To start, if you don't keep your eyes peeled for the office, you will miss it, because from the outside it looks no different than the sketchy, broken down garages and closed businesses surrounding it. Had I listened to my gut instinct, I would have never walked through the door. Once inside, you'll find that there are actually two medical offices being ran out of what still very much looks like a two-story house. The waiting room time is long (close to an hour) and the staff is clueless. Don't bother filling out the paperwork of medications you take because the girl (not nurse) that takes your medical information will just ask you to repeat them, spell them, and explain what they treat.

Assuming you haven't left yet, you'll be seated in another makeshift waiting room in the hallway of this two-story house with 3-4 other exasperated people where you could spend anywhere from 45 minutes to another hour before you can talk to Dr. Hanna. Both appointments I've had with this woman were rushed, confusing, and left me understanding less than before. I follow self-care directions for managing my condition obsessively, I don't drink, smoke or take any recreational drugs, and Dr. Hanna still spoke to me in a condescending tone and suggested that my chronic illness was my fault. After checking my thyroid function, she offered zero further tests to check what other endocrinological issues could be responsible for my health problems, had no suggestions for what could be causing the rest of my symptoms, and finished it off with some snide remarks about my weight (lost 15 pounds prior to hospitalization and then gained it back) when she herself is almost unrecognizable from the skinny photo on her website.

I wouldn't go back to this place if my life depended on it. I'm extremely skeptical of the good reviews of this office and can't help but wonder if members of her staff wrote them, because every patient I've ever encountered in the waiting room(s) of this garbage dump of an office look as exhausted and annoyed as I was after being made to wait over two hours for an unhelpful and unsympathetic doctor like Hanna TWICE. If you have any access to a better doctor, even if it requires travel, heed my warning: Do not waste your time here.

I had to find a new endocrinologist as Dr. Lala closed his JC practice. Dr. Hanna was highly recommended so I made an appointment. I found a very clean and welcoming environment with a very courteous and professional staff. I was very pleased with my meeting with the doctor and with the way she managed the appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Hanna.
