I must respond to the rating posted May 15, 2021. We are in the midst of a pandemic and the health care system is stretched to the max. Any appointment we are able to secure during such troubled times is a blessing. While Doctors and all health care professionals are working diligently to accommodate as many patients as possible, any wait time is reasonable. I would wait for 8 hours to see Dr. Power if necessary. No need for an apology if I am kept waiting, Dr. Power. I appreciate everything you do. The entire staff in the Urology Dept at LHSC is dedicated, kind, helpful and always smiling. Thanks for everything. Please don't let one poor review shed any negative light on your office. Absolutely no complaints from me. I have been in the care of Dr. Power for over two years now and every single appointment has been positive. THANK YOU!!

DON'T BELIEVE THE RATINGS OF OTHERS> I waited 90 minutes... no "sorry". He asked ZERO questions. Meeting lasted 4 minutes. I was just a $$$ OHIP billing number for him.

Dr. Power is by far the best doctor we have ever been to. My husband had an initial consultation session with him for some concerning symptoms and Dr. Power took his time with us, gave my husband plenty of time to explain what had been happening, explained things in great detail and ordered thorough testing to get a full picture of what was happening. Dr. Power made my husband very comfortable while conducting what for most men is an invasive procedure and explained what he was seeing on the monitor throughout the test. He spent time with us afterward answering our questions and gave us a detailed explanation of his plan. The clinic was clearly very busy but Dr. Power did not appear affected by this. He was punctual, thorough and very kind. We left with a restored faith in health care and would highly recommend Dr. Nick Power.

I’ve been sick for months with kidney/bladder/bowel problems. So much so, that I’m pretty much bedridden. I waited a long time to see Dr. Powers but the wait was worth it. His staff are so nice and helpful and Dr. Powers seemed to be a pleasant man. I went into his office in a high state of anxiety but his demeanour calmed me. He’s ordered a standard ultrasound and it will be two weeks before he can see me again, but I am confident that he will find the source of my pain and offer me the best treatment possible. In the meantime, I will just keep praying and try to stay calm.

Dr. Power is an extremely intelligent, skilled doctor who is very compassionate and patient. It is clear that he cares for his patients and their life stories. My Dad had a radical nephrectomy so we got to experience him in his different positions as doctor, oncologist, urologist, and surgeon and he went above and beyond in all of these roles. We are beyond thankful for the level of care my Dad experienced. If you are in his care, you can rest assured that you will receive care of the highest quality.

I would recommend Dr Power’s in a heartbeat to anyone his bedside manners impeccable his calming voice and compassion is a 10 u never feel rushed when ur talking to him the best and caring surgeon I know 👍😀

My family doctor told me I had 17 cm tumour in my left kidney and I was terminal. He Dr. Powers was one of the best in his field and gave hope . Dr. Powers was able to get me in swiftly and operate. Very compassionate and concerned man. It’s been a year now and I am living a quality life style. He the man👍👍👍👍👍

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS MAN. HE OPERATED ON ME AND I AM SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAD HIM AS MY SURGEON. I FELT COMPLETELY AT EASE THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCEDURE, BEFORE THE OPERATION AND FOLLOW UP.
