I recently had a colonoscopy at the VG Hospital in Halifax. Dr. Gruchy conducted the procedure. He was excellent... He explained every step of the procedure, answered questions, and throughout was the consummate professional. The team accompanying him were also first-rate. I appreciate very much the role of Dr. Gruchy and his team.

Dr. Grouchy was friendly, put me at ease right away, explained the entire procedure, encouraged and answered questions, talked me through the process and made sure I understood what was happening at every stage and why. Offered great follow-up care advice and was very reassuring throughout. Perfect bedside manner and the same for all the staff working with him. Gentle, caring and humourous nurses and Dr made an "awkward" procedure more bareable. Cannot thank them enough.

He is both my GI dr. and my elderly fathers. He is a good dr. for all age groups. Explains everything well and makes the time for his patients.
