Great experience. Dr. Hassoun is a skilled surgeon who is also a caring doctor. Had major surgery and it went very well and great follow up. Would recommend to anyone.

Mesh Repairs in Hiatal Surgery. (42% in those repaired laparoscopically).

This Doctor is a liar with no ethics at all. All what he wanted to get the money of the poor Iraqi woman. He told a woman patient and her family including her son who is a surgeon in Iraq that he is going to operate on her for two or three hours to do the hernia procedure. After 4 to 5 days she should go home.

Perhaps he was in rush, he ignored vital signs that the woman was showing. Severe bladder infection. He decided to operate.

Without telling the patient's family outside the operating room, he decided on his own to go and operate on other organs claiming it was necessary. What about telling the patient and the family waiting outside? Isn't that her and their right? Did her forget?

The old women died after lungs failed, kidneys failed, and heart stopped, . He couldn't even help to provide kidney's dialysis for her. Woman died after 4 days in intensive care. She died in a different hospital because the first one didn't have any kidney's dialysis equipment, blood, or even medication for the dialysis.

Good Job Assad.

He didn't forget to collect his money.

What an amazing surgeon. Worth the four hour drive just to be able to have the very best care possible. Gentle and kind, answers all of the questions you may have. In my humble opinion he is at the very top in his field. I would never trust another surgeon with my life.
