Wife palliative with brain cancer.Dr Brown went on holidays the whole time of my wife’s illness without ensuring there was a substitute in place.Came to house near the time of my wife’s final journey and lied about having a substitute although his staff member had said otherwise.Ended up with palliative care physicians (excellent).this was several years ago when he first came here from U.S. Have never looked back until now and other reviews say it all.

Same as a lot of the other comments. I also feel he doesn't seem to care about his patients or take their concerns or treatment ideas seriously. I've found he wont prescribe or order testing if you request or if your Natropath requests. Inappropriately says "okay kiddo" at the end of every visit. Also an important referral he stated he would make must have never been made or was forgotten as I had to follow up on it months later and it was not sent.

He is inept, and doesn’t seem like wants to work anymore. He brushes off valid concerns, and tries to solve everything with too much pain medication. He could care less about figuring out what the root of the issue is. He also doesn’t believe in physio, chiro, acu, or therapy. When I mentioned I wanted to see a therapist as my anxiety was starting to spiral, and my father had just passed away. He told me it was a waste of time and to suck it up. I hope he retires soon. Having him as a gp, is just as bad as not having one. He just doesn’t care, and it’s evident

Dr. Brown has been my doctor for 7 years now. I love his very caring and respectful manner. He is very kind. He always listens very carrfully to my concerns and never dismisses my alternative ideas on health. The clinic gets me referals promptly and he is an excellent facilitator for the routes I want to take with my health. He is definitely not an over prescriber in my opinion. In a time when doctors are so overworked, he never forgets his compassion.

I was taken by ambulance to emergency - where i was misdiagnoses and sent home to die. Dr Brown automatically got my test results sent to him and realizing i was misdiagnosed-phoned my wife and said he was coming right over-loaded me in his car and drove me back to emergency. My bowel had burst and i had peritonitis , was about a day away from sepsis....and death.Dr Brown is a HERO !!!!

Staff are rude and incompetent. On 2 different occasions I was waiting to be referred for tests/specialist. After not hearing for a couple months, I called to check. They snapped back that they had no control over these things and I just had to wait. After another month I called back. After much pressing and finally talking to the Office Mgr, it turns out they either forgot to send the request or sent it to the wrong place. Dr Brown has made remarks that make me feel uncomfortable. One time during an exam he commented that my breast were quite large which seemed irrelevant and inappropriate. He seems to be pre-occupied with

Office staff are unfriendly and not helpful. Dr. Brown usually says at least one creepy remark during my visit and doesn't seem to care to listen to patients needs. I would not recommend going here, if it wasnt so hard to find a family doctor I would leave. It would be great if someone new came into replace him. From looking at other reviews, I know other patients feel the same way.

I knew I felt a urinary tract infection coming on and went to walk in to take a urine sample.. said he found “few” white blood cells and told me to just drink water and wouldn’t give me antibiotics. 8 hours later I end up having to call an ambulance due to dabiliting urinary tract infection that was spreading rapidly.. needed an injection of Tramadol and HEAVY antibiotics to get rid of pain and infection. ER nurse said my urine “lit up like a Christmas tree” and shook her head at what happened with Dr Brown. 3-4 days later his asssitant calls and said she recommends I take antibiotics because lab results were back, I said yeah Dr Brown is an idiot and I ended up in the ER in excruciating pain. This could’ve been prevented.

I share many of the sentiments of others here who have had negative experiences with Dr. Brown. His lack of ability to ' listen'to the patient's concerns are most evident. Likes to toss medications at you, some with potentially serious consequences. Think he should simply retire or find another suitable job that reflects his abilities....
