I had a very disturbing experience with this doctor. At first I brushed it under the rug and said I was never going back to him and haven't. Recently I became very ill and had to be hospitalized at Keller and ended up running into this creep and was reminded it of the incident and feel compelled to speak out about it and warn other women that may end up in his care. I was also afraid of speaking out about it due to any backlash I might receive. I was referred to him by another doctor for gallbladder removal surgery and I ended up having the surgery done at Shoals Hospital.

The day of the surgery I was in the waiting area in the bed waiting to be taken back to have the procedure done. I thought it odd there were no nurses or patients in the waiting area where I was. There was an area with a glass window and I assume that was the nurses station. It was empty and then Billsby came over to me and at first he was on his computer doing whatever it is he does. Now 2 weeks or so prior I let him know I was having my tubes removed and the only scars I had were two dots on my abdomen. That morning he asked to see my scars from my previous surgery and I said sure. Now I was completely naked minus wearing a hospital gown and had a blanket over me since I was cold. I pulled my gown up enough to show my abdomen but made sure the blanket was covering my vulva area. I told him "it's these two spot right here". He comes over, bends down and looks, says "oh that's not so bad", and then proceeds to pull my blanket back, look at my vulva and walk away.

I hurried and pulled the blanket back over me and laid there in shock thinking "did he just do what I think he did". After my surgery I called my grandmother and told her what he had done and also my mom. My grandma said there was no reason for him to look down there which I already knew. She also told me male doctors always have a nurse present when they examine a woman down there. Again I already knew that. This "doctor" on his own decided to sexually violate me due to his own perverted desires.

There was no reason for him to look at my vulva when that is not where I told him surgery had taken place. Plus he knows a nurse has to be present if he has to examine a woman especially her private parts. Ladies beware of this pervert and I am going to look into taking legal action against him. There is no telling how many women he has done this to. I always found it odd the nurses at Shoals hospital and other staff had nothing good to say about this doctor. In fact one asked me who was performing my surgery and I told her Billsby and she smacked her teeth and rolled her eyes. The supervisor "he's a weird northern doctor".
