In reading the reviews I felt the need to comment. My follow-up with Dr Moore was both positive and effective. I attended his clinic for assessment of back pain. I had several appt so with my family Doctor who continually prescribed medication which was ineffective. Dr Moore was the first one to X-ray my back and come up with a diagnosis! Following the series of Vax-D treatments I was completely off all RX medication and pain free. He was professional and knowledgeable in treating my back issues.

I made an appointment to see Dr Brian Moore after I had back pain. I mentioned this to my Aurora neighbour who immediately warned me to cancel my appointment citing his reputation around town. I should have listened. I went anyway and this smooth operator went to work extracting as much money from me as he could. In the mean time my condition was getting worse and worse. In the end I had to admit to myself I had been had, like a complete fool.

It’s shocking to imagine anyone in the medical profession could be such an opportunist and deliberately prey on the very ill, weak and vulnerable, yet that is exactly what ‘Brian Moore’ did to me. I was desperate for ‘hope’ and saw Dr. Moore for the 1st visit and he assured me he could help. Next visit he went over his findings and again ‘assured’ me he would be able to improve my health substantially and definitely ‘not hurt me’ (both statements proved incorrect). He told stories of patients who had had seemingly miraculous recoveries from his treatment. He explained his therapy required a series of treatments on his VAX-D spinal decompression machine which would require an ‘upfront’ deposit of $7,720.00. I asked if there were ‘ANY ‘other fees and he assured there were ‘NONE’.

I signed his agreements and asked for ALL copies. He said he was short staffed but they could be picked-up next time I came in the office. I continued to ask for the contract copies for the next two weeks before he finally produced them however, he ‘conveniently’ excluded the document that contained his fee structure. He also ‘conveniently’ excluded and has ‘never produced’ a copy of the document that shows the fee for the VAX-D treatments or his cancellation fee (that he said he would never charge but did!). After a few weeks of bi-daily sessions, it was clear he wasn't helping me; in fact my pain was much worse!! I asked him to close my account, provide a brief summary assessment of my condition & prepare the final bill.

TWO MONTHS later, the bill was finally produced! He rudely ‘taped it’ to the door outside his office for my husband to pick up after hours. That’s when the BOMB dropped!! He had the further audacity to bill over $4800.00 in “Administrative Fees” including over $700 for text messages and phone calls and a whopping $1,800.00 for his summary report. At no time did he ever say he was billing for any of his apparent kindness, nor would I have EVER agreed, so I was completely blindsided by what he did. I expect anyone with a prefix of Dr. to have integrity, be trustworthy and be ethical beyond reproach. I should have been informed of any additional cost prior to being billed, but that was not the case. He had his own agenda and deceived me throughout the entire process. In all my years dealing with our healthcare system I have never received any treatment without getting a bill/receipt after each treatment. I had to hound him for a receipt I could use for our Insurance claim and they never showed anything extra.

I feel completely disrespected and taken advantage of by his misleading and deceitful conduct at such a desperate time in my life. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Brian Moore! He presents as kind, generous and caring, however he's a wolf in sheep’s clothing who puts himself before his patients. Horrible horrible individual...AVOID at all costs!!!

I went to Dr Moore in a great deal of pain. I was desperate. His demeanor is genuine and I trusted him. Anything he asked me to do, I did. This included taking 5+ radiographs (including views that are not remotely close to my localized area of concern), adjusting my inflamed neck daily, and making a treatment plan for 10-12 months at an extremely high cost. He charged me over $800 within 1 week of treatment. Every time I went in they were asking for my credit card information to have on file- they wanted to charge in $450 blocks automatically taken from my card. No thank you. You are a chiropractor.

After some questionable comments that made me very uncomfortable, I went with my gut and switched practitioners. I learned I had been completely mistreated. The radiographs taken were NOT warranted and do not show pinched nerves at all and the single one that was somewhat 'acceptable' to take could've been covered by OHIP. Adjusting a neck daily that has a pinched nerve, is inflamed and causing severe pain is the polar opposite of what a practitioner should be doing. His comments on personal life were simply inappropriate and very unprofessional. I left after one week of seeing him and feel completely disrespected and misleading at such a desperate time. I am not the type to speak poorly of another, but I wish I had a post of this nature to read prior to going to his office. I would never recommend Dr. Brian Moore.

Again, very nice demeanor, but terrible intentions unfortunately.

Slow to see patients, always has a wait. He was anti-Vaccines, and very expensive

The biggest scam artist! He took thousands and thousands of dollars from my father, leading him to believe that he was going to make him better even after my father kept telling him that he wasn't feeling any better at all. Out of desperation to get better, my father took him for his word to absolutely no avail. Moore knew that my father was desperate and continue to string him along. Horrible horrible individual...do not go here.
