First I want to say how wonderful Dr. Luker is. My office visit of 2/6/17 began as a pre-op visit but ended with cancellation of the surgery. Dr. Luker tried a few approaches to my issue to avoid surgery spending over TWO HOURS with me; I have NEVER had a doctor spend this much time treating me.
Dr. Luker gave me three injections in my right shoulder. The first was lidocaine in the bursa; the second was lidocaine in the shoulder joint; the third injection was cortisone in the joint - TRIPLE OUCH!
The fabulous news is my surgery, which was scheduled for March 2nd - is postponed - WOO-HOO! If this treatment plan helps I can continue with this "scenario" for a few years until having to have shoulder replacement surgery.
