This review concerns the general office policies of the endocrinology department of the Holy Cross Medical Group and not specifically this doctor. I was a patient of one of this group's doctors when I was hospitalized for an unrelated issue. During this stay two other endrologists from the same office visited to monitor my diabetes issues related to a cardiac procedure. My wife and I were impressed with one of them and we decided to get an appointment with her. This request was unconditionally denied on the basis that the doctors in this office are colleagues and they do not waver from this fixed policy of not allowing patients to change doctors under any circumstance and if I wanted to change doctors, I would have to find an endocrinologist outside of this group. I have been with the Holy Cross Medical Group for over thirty years and am totally dissatisfied and dismayed that this policy is so strictly enforced with no allowable exception.
