Dr. Mujoomdar is now located in Halifax. He is a thoracic surgeon. I met with him 3 times and was punctual all three times. He took his time and answered all my questions. On one occasion, he took over an hour to answer all my questions. He appeared very knowledgeable but not cocky.

He performed a esophegectomy, a very complicated surgery that lasts 6 to 8 hours and where complications are usually expected.

I did really well with the surgery. No complications. He was in to see me on most days while I was in the hospital for 8 days.

He was also very attentive during my post op visit and answered all my questions.

I have no hesitation about recommending this surgeon. A true professional and caring individual.

Received a phone call eight days ago. We were told that the Doctor was going to call 2:30 on the 16th of January. Today is the 22, still no call. Pathetic, so unprofessional. Have better things to do then wait by the phone. It’s making us ill, Do your job. Do your job. What a joke.

Dr. Mujoomdar is a highly professional and compassionate gentleman. He has been monitoring a spot on my lung for three years, and at the first sign of change, he performed surgery and removed a Stage 1A cancer. Throughout my time under his care, I've always appreciated that he listens, and actually remembers to follow up any questions. I will always be thankful for this amazing doctor.

A few years ago, I was very fortunate to have this surgeon to revmover my gallbladder. This was after my 2nd attack in as many weeks and was only able to eat light food. He took the time to explain to me and answered questions that I had. He made my experience a lot better than I expected and am truly grateful for that.
