I had a really bad experience with this surgeon. My nose was made much worse and a small knock to my nose was used as an excuse for the problems with my nose now. I’ve been massively gaslighted. Also been told from every surgeon I’ve saw that I need a revision to fix the issues made by Mr Ion. I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend and it’s been a real struggle. I’ve also reached out for help on many occasions and asked for a full refund to fix the issues made to my nose. I was turned away every time. My nose is shorter and much flatter. It’s lost the projection and the length and I have a flat infratip and no visible columella. Devastated!

You won't get the perfect nose but it will be a big improvement.I can now lead a normal life thanks to lucian and this was my 3rd revision !!

I had primary and several revision rhinoplasties, including rib and ear cartilage grafts, with Lucian Ion. Where do I even begin? He over-scooped my bridge, deviated my septum, removed my columella, over reduced the tip, botched my nostrils so that they are hideously uneven and distorted, I can’t at all breath through one nostril and the other is restricted, he released the muscle in my upper lip so now the space between my nose and lip is terribly long and even more pronounced because of the short stubby nose, I have continuous infections in the tip from a problematic permanent suture, repeat incisions in the columella and nostril base are badly scarred and bumpy. The distress caused is unbelievable and I feel utterly devastated and botched. I have no more resolve for more surgery in an attempt to correct his mistakes, so am living with this. His so called bedside manner and gentle disposition will go so far in excusing his botched surgeries and the real life effect on a persons well being. Avoid.

2 years on and very little improvement. Blunt short tip and a narrow bridge. The after care is pretty much done and I’ve been left with this mess. It’s very unfortunate and to begin with I had so much swelling and it was ok but 9 months post op this is when I stated to see the problems arise and how much shorter my nose was. He has some really happy patients and I so wish I was one of them. His after care was brilliant until I disagreed with his technique to fix it then the rapport and after care broke down. Changes were made to my nose that didn’t need to be done and I don’t understand why he did them. A short blunt nose does not suit everybody.

This caring wonderful surgeon made such a huge difference to my life. My nose is much more feminine and smaller but it suits my face. Nostrils were made smaller with alar base graft. Breathing is better
Feel blessed that I chose this surgeon . I had many consultations but only paid for one, to make sure we were both on the same page. My result is remarkable

Completely destroyed my nose. Left with scooped out bridge, a collapsed left side, extremely narrow bridge, deviated septum so I cannot breathe at all through one side. badly over-rotated tip and a flat columella where he tucked up. Been told I need a complete reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Ion is absolutely by far the best Rhinoplasty Surgeon . I travelled from Ireland to London and I am absolutely delighted ..thrilled with my results. He had a tough job from previous botch and I had to have Rib graph . Even now already 2 weeks and my profile is soft feminine and I am over the moon with the results . It's very swollen but everyone has told me its gorgeous . I cannot recommend him enough my nose used to really upset me it was a masculine crooked beak nose and I hated it, I also couldn't breathe through my nose and I can now . He is the best of the best . I also had a neck lift at the same time and this is also perfection. The hospital and Dr. Ion looked after you so well and they are there to help throughout your aftercare .

I believe that my surgery was a complete era on his half. He gave me a nose without even considering my facial features and if it would suit me. I am disgusted by his after care and my nose 1 year on now the swelling has subsided. What is more sickening is the amount of people in the exact position from this man. People left depressed and unable to find a solution. I am now left with a flat roof, no columella show un even nostrils and breathing restrictions. The surgeon also was against all my concerns and said the recovery period is not his problem. I asked for my surgical notes and he has not sent them which was months ago now.
