I had scheduled appointments for pre-op and when I completed the session I was directed to Dr. Engels and sat and waited for 7 1/2 hrs. to see him. When he came in to the examination room he asked me what the problem. I told him I had fell 15 times in 2 weeks cuz my left knee was failing me after I had an Oxford knee installed. He informed me that it was not my knee that was the problem that my back was the problem. After about 2 mins he told me to go home. 3 hr. drive for a 2 min appointment. I was furious cuz I was supposed to have surgery that day. He is rude, very brief in appointment visits , errogant and doesn’t have the time to hear what you have to explain yourself.

Screwed up hip operation. Forgot to implement retaining plug which caused adhesive to migrate and not provide adequate adhesion. Had to get hip replacement redone by a more competent doctor.
