Waited in his office for over half hour, he never showed up and his nurse never came back to say he will be late, went looking for them, no one around so I left. Bad Practice.

We have known him for years, but his arrogance and attitude have gotten worse year after year. We are educated people and we are talked down to by his staff all the time, when they are the ones that seem very uneducated, rude, and constantly miscommunicate everything and I mean everything, even down to the patient's name! Our doctor left Comcare and so we have been stuck with him! We don't call for everything either, we only call maybe once a year if that, because we can't stand his staff and it doesn't help to say anything, because he sits on the board and no complaints are even addressed. We have two chronically ill children right now and it's been an ongoing battle to get in and collaborate with their specialists, and it has been seven months of fighting for the right dosage of one child's med and the specialist have even called for proper labs and given up. We have driven to KC for labs, because he refuses to work with them and thinks he knows everything. His office staff is unreal and one of the nurse's told me what she thinks we should do and this is her quote, "I don't know what to tell you, your daughter is not worth his or our time right now, we will call you when we call you!" Literally, she said this and another thing, that I won't repeat here, but it was very unprofessional and yes, we turned it in. We used to love him, but he needs to learn to listen, communicate, and follow through with everything, his staff lacks in all areas and it's not okay! I might understand the office getting tired of people that call constantly or this or that, but their job is to help people no matter what, and our family doesn't ever call and have given up!! We know addressing it with the patient manager or even the head guy (which is one of Jeff's best friends) would go nowhere! We are in the process of looking for a new physician, but in Salina is rather difficult since Comcare is all together and you can't switch in between doctors without the physician signing off and he won't do it, because he's all about the money too, and SRHC has taken over almost every single clinic in this town. It's disappointing and even disheartening!

He takes forever to look at & call regarding results of test. My husband takes warfarin, he has his blood drawn for a protime about every 2 weeks, it takes a good week for a call him regarding results and adjusting of dosage which always seems to changes. Never happened with our other doctor, who retired, received call back same day! Dr. Ehrlich always seems to be in a rush! If a prescription needs refilled takes for ever to okay.

I have seen Dr Ehrlich for over ten years, I get a pap every other year, have
for many of years. Last year 2014, when I was in for my pap smear, I asked him
about getting of "this shot" he goes you are on a shot? Depo-Provera, he goes
you will have to make an appointment to talk to me.
June 30, 2015 I went in for a shot, I get you are six months behind, from this
rude nurse of Comcare’s. I was like, no I get my pap smear every other year,
“…here is your appointment, if you cancel it, he will not see you again,” I said
why can't I make an appointment for my pap smear in Sept when I get my shot, as
she is opening the door, very rudely says “…you can stop at the desk and get a
new doctor.”
July 2, 2015. I call to make a complaint on the nurse’s attitude to Comcare,
well, I had to call Salina Reginal Health Center, of course they were gone for
the holiday weekend, yet they have an emergency backup group. I said well my
appointment on July 21, 2015. OK, we will get someone to call you right away. So
a week later, I am calling the hospital back, well I have to at this point call
Comcare back, so I call the clinic manager, she tells me she has been calling
and leaving messages, I confirm my phone number, not one message. So she is
telling me how I need to get a pap smear every year and how important it is, I
said my complaint is on Dr. Ehrlich’s nurse, she was going on and on about how
insurance pays for my pap and how important it was, I said my complaint is on
how rude Dr. Ehrlich’s nurse was and her telling me twice that I needed to find
a new doctor.
Nothing was done.
Then a week later I get a letter from Salina Regional Health Center from the
Executive Director of Physician Practice Management, going on and on about how
important it is to get a pap spear every year. I tried to call him back three
days, left many of messages; finally I got to speak with him. He did not know
what I was talking about, told me he signs many letters each day. So I explained
what the letter said, then I explained that my complaint was on Dr. Ehrlich’s
nurse and how rude she was with telling me not once- twice, that I needed to
find another doctor. The call lasted 17 minutes, he understood my complaint,
told me he would look into it and get back with me. I never received a call
back.
Sept 11, 2015, I received a letter from Comcare stating that I need to find
another doctor, due to the fact “Physician-Patient incompatibility has
developed. This dismissal is for Dr. Ehrlich’s practice and all COMCARE
physicians at all COMCARE locations including Statcare.”
My complaint is with Dr. Ehrlich’s nurse and how rude she was telling me to find
another doctor.

Long wait in waiting room as well as exam room. Does not listen to patient. I went to him in severe pain when I threw my back out. I knew what meds I needed because I had done this before. He refused me any pain meds and gave me a steroid instead. Also spends very little time with patients.

Confidential patient information name, address social security were left in plain sight for anyone to see. Staff rude and unhelpful. Long wait in exam room, while dr complains to staff about other patients. Would recommend if you have a serious condition seek another physician.
