Biography
Dr. Mattioli is board-certified by the American Board of Physician Specialties in Ophthalmology and has over 18 years of vision correction experience. Since 2001, he has performed over 50,000 laser refractive treatments and hundreds of cataract/implant procedures, as well as cosmetic procedures such as blepharoplasty, Botox injectables, filler treatments, Radiofrequency, LED light therapy, and more. From 2003 to 2012, Dr. Mattioli put his years of eye care experience to work as the Houston Medical Director for a vision center managed by a national LASIK corporation. After dedicating years of service and treating thousands of patients as Houston’s Medical Director, Dr. Mattioli opened his own private practice to ensure each one of his patients receives the best possible eye care Houston has to offer. Since then, Mattioli Vision Professionals has grown and been established as one of the best eye care and LASIK practices in the greater Houston area. Dr. Mattioli also speaks Spanish fluently and has personally treated several Wounded Warriors.

I had Lasik here and it was just so incredibly painful. The healing was also quite tough with complete blindness for 36 hours after surgery. On one eye. I am still seeing streamers and glare. I dont think this is going to improve at this point. I am due for a correction to fix some issues but dont think I can stomach going back.
