She is the best cardiologist I have met. She takes her time, listens and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. I definitely recommend her. Her staff is also friendly and helpful.

Dr. Alvarez is an awesome dr. Very professional very courteous very helpful and a loving heart for her profession she has been my husband's cardiologist for many years now and she has never stopped and to see fix the solution hands up to dr. Alvarez and staff....

Doctor offices out of at least two cities. When she is not in the office I go to there has yet to be a response to inquiries. I'm still waiting (two weeks later) for information on whether or not I should continue taking a heart medication. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and helpful while I was in front of her, but no even the hospital could get information from her staff as they waited to administer IV drugs.

We have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Alvarez Since February of 2011. She is thorough, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Alvarez did not give up until our problem was resolved. We have dealt with other cardiologist in other states with no success.. Dr. Alvarez worked at it until she found the problem. She treats you like family, listens to you, returned our calls via PA. Or herself. Moving to Florida has been much easier knowing we have a cardiologist that we can trust and will be there when we need her. Absolutely love her! Working with the office staff has been a little of a struggle, but once you know who to ask for in order to,get through to the doctor is half the battle! We both look forward to working with this wonderful cardiologist and her staff in the future!

The office staff doesn't call you back and when you finally get an appointment you wait forever in the exam room. Dr. Torres was dismissive and short. She had her hand on the door handle ready to leave during our visit. Will not be returning to this practice.
