After seeing several physicians who could not help, he discovered the problem (thyroid) and has successfully treated it for five years. He always explains his diagnosis and treatment plan and doesn't hesitate to change medications, adjust doses, or combine meds after observing my body's response to the treatment. He is up-to-date on drugs that even some pharmacists hadn't been aware of. He has a sharp mind, pleasant personality, and caring nature. I don't know what I'd do without him given the unstable nature of my thyroid and "non-textbook" problems my body has displayed. I'd highly recommend him.

Wouldn't explain meaning of abnormal endocrinology test results. Seems aloof and condescending [a bit pompous, University Doc]. Didn't read my medical history and the one he sent me to fill out. Seemed to have his mind made up before entering the room and seeing me for the first time.

He was not helpful, out of date on information reguarding hormone relating tumors. Refused to do an MRI on myself late it was found I did indeed have a tumor of a different nature than he tested for.

This doctor treated me as if I didn't know anything about my own body or my prior experiences with medications. He treated me as if I were telling him incorrect information when I did try again to take medication that makes me ill. I tried several times and with every suggestion he gave me. He wanted to send me for a surgical consult although he never ad 'proof' of the medical issue I had (tumor). He could take my word for that. A lot of information he gave me appeared to be old and outdated.

Dr. Edmondson is one of the best doctors anyone could hope for. He is an excellent diagnostician, listens attentively to his patients, and treats patients with respect. He knows when to test and when to watch and wait. He acts immediately if he believes it is necessary. He is a really nice person, along with being a top doctor.
