Dr Ong performed my esophagectomy about 2 years ago. I have the utmost respect and admiration for her. She was always courteous, professional and extremely approachable. My follow up care has also been exceptional. Dr Ong's office staff(Emily) has also been extremely diligent and very accommodating to ensure my follow up treatment is have been completed in a timely manner. I would absolutely recommend Dr Ong. Could not imagine having a better or more caring andknowledgeable Dr looking after me. I would absolutely recommend Dr Ong with the highest rating.

I would like to take a moment to share my gratitude for Dr. Ong, who performed a life-changing surgery on my pneumothorax five years ago. Thanks to Dr. Ong's expertise, I have fully recovered and have been able to participate in several marathons and half-marathons in good health. My son was to have a telephone consultation with Dr. Ong this morning. He took the day off school to do blood test, urine, and stool test before the appointment. We get a call from his MOA 45 minutes after the appointment was already supposed to happen cancelling the appointment as the doctor has now decided that she is not going to see him as she believes he should be seen by a paediatrician instead. This is absolutely unprofessional and the appointment should never have been scheduled for him if she had no intention of seeing him. He missed school and we have been sitting here waiting for a call that came 45 minutes late stating refusal to consult. Ridiculous this was not decided before wasting our time.

Finally a doctor who is a real caring knowledgeable person who you can tell really wants to help you. She had me near tears because she gave me excellent advice I could understand and follow. Hurrah!

I recently suffered a repeat collapsed lung, I ended up going to Surrey Memorial Hospital to have Surgery.
Dr. Ong was my doctor. I couldn't be happier. She was kind, reassuring, thorough, and down to earth. I had some anxiety about the surgery but once I had spoken with her I was much more relaxed and calm. The surgery was a success and the follow up was great. Dr. Ong is an excellent doctor and genuinely cares for her patients
