Recently seen Dr. Higgins at the ED. Her bedside manners, knowledge, and compassion is second to none. Unfortunately, some of the nurses in the ED were extremely arrogant; fortunately, that did not effect the level of care that Dr. Higgins provided. She sat down with me, and very patiently obtained a detailed history. As a result, she was able to diagnose and treat me accordingly. She is simply an outstanding doctor with a genuine soul.

She was very thorough and listened to us while we were explaining our concerns to her. Even with a packed ER inside and outside in the lobby, she took her time and listened. We didn’t feel rushed, we felt heard, and she looked into things further instead of just sending us home. The long wait is not the physicians fault, it’s our governments fault and we need to remember that this is just as hard or even harder on our doctors as it is on us as the patients. She spoke to you instead of at you and showed concern for your issues. She should train Dr. John Campbell in ER and patient etiquette. He could use some new skills. Never change Dr. Higgins, your compassion and knowledge goes a long way.

Great Dr and very caring and takes all concerns and complaints seriously. Good Dr's are hard to find. After reading the last post, we must have dr's mixed up? Thanks dr Higgins

I find her a terrible excuse for a doctor. She put me on medication for anxiety when I asked for a referral to see someone to talk to give me the skills to deal with it instead of being medicated for it. She told me my anxiety was too bad and I had to take medication. The medication made me drowsy therefore I stopped taking it. I have since learned to deal with my aniety and can now do things I was nervous about before. She is prescription happy. She pushes many narcotics that are in our town and seems to have a problem giving out valid perceptions for health reason for reasonable periods of time.

Dr. Higgins is a very sweet mild mannered doctor. She is very thorough and will listen and give you good advice. I am very lucky to have her for a doctor. I would recommend her to anyone altho its hard getting to be a patient of hers with many ppl wanting to go to her.
