No matter how early you arrive to the office, you’ll be there for 4-5 hours waiting. In addition to that, the doctor is always late and in a rush. He has no empathy and is very very rude. He will push you to do a C section no matter what.

I don't recommend this doctor . He is hardly ever there, always has a student treating/seeing patients while he is at the hospital, so his staff says. I had to cancel 4 times because his not there. My results were given to me buy the student who repeated my tests. I pay to see a doctor not his students. I do NOT recommend this doctor.

Personally, I would not recommend this office to anyone. First and foremost, I never met with the doctor. Secondly, from my first appointment they never measured the fetal pole, crown to rump length, and they didn't provide a Doppler to pick up the heart rate. When I went in for my first appointment, the PA simply "looked" for the heartbeat (the flickering) and that's all, my appointment was over. I found this to be a bit off. He didn't provide an estimated due date, nor measurement. Second, third time around nothing as well. Every time I would ask, "hey you're not going to provide the measurement or hear the heartbeat" his response was "oh, dr.pena prefers to see the heart beat. Well, on my third visit I went in for my 11th week visit, and the PA was searching for the heart beat, he immediately told me, I need to you verify with the emergency room, they have better equipment. He said nothing else. When I went to the emergency room they verified that I had a missed a/b, they said I was measuring 7 weeks and 5 days. Well to add on to this, exactly two weeks ago I was suffering from a stomach virus, I had called the doctors office in emergency to hear the doctors orders in regards of what next step to take, and the receptionist told me, he'll call you back in an hour. STILL TILL THIS DAY, I have not received his phone call! He was supposed to show up in the emergency room (designated hospital) to perform my ultrasound and he never showed up! This was complete negligence from Dr. Pena! After they dismissed me from the hospital, i didn't even follow up with Dr. Pena, i immediately changed OB! I did NOT want one further opinion from Dr.Pena! Thank god I didn't follow my DNC procedure with him, because that would of ended up bad. Do NOT go to this office!

Yo no recomiendo al doctor Pena para nada, ni a nadie. Desafortunadamente lo escogi a el para atender mi embarazo, pero No lo vuelvo a hacer ni le recomiendo a nadie que lo haga. Yo pase todo mi embarazo atendiendome con el, No me gustaba mucho su actitud, siempre apurado (las pocas veces que lo vi) que no te daba tiempo ni de pensar a preguntarle algo, pero pense que quizas al final valdria la pena porque me lo habian recomendado, pero NO. Nunca falte a una consulta, y casi nunca el estaba en la oficina para atender a las pacientes, era su asistente (un estudiabte) el que nos atendia; o te daban una cita para las 9am y el llegaba al mediodia. Cuando comence con contracciones dolorosas que ya no podia aguantar el dolor fui para el hospital y lo llamaron y el le dijo a las enfermeras que me mandaran para mi casa que yo no estaba de parto. Ese mismo dia por la noche tuve que regresar porque ya no agunataba mas los dolores, lo volvieron a llamar y el les volvio a decir lo mismo, pero les dije que yo no me iba para mi casa, que tenian que atenderme. Fue entonces que me dieron un cuarto. el estuvo alli por la manana, yo estaba dilatando lentamente pero natural, sin ninguna ayuda. Alli estuve en trabajo de parto por casi 24 horas y al final tuve que ser cesarea por emergencia donde la vida de mi bebe corrio peligro porque le bajo el ritmo cardiaco. entonces hubo que correr, A todas estas ya en ese momenti el no estaba por todo el hospital y otro doctor fue el que me hizo mi cesarea. Gracias a Dios mi bebe y yo salimos bien, pero quede muy disgustada por haberlo elegido a el. Nunca mas volvi a ver ni lo volvere a hacer.

Dr Pena is Great, he has a lot of experience and he is very dedicated in his work . Dr Pena is EXTREMELY busy and patients need to understand that he is solo practice and sometimes his PA have to see you JP , He did my 4 deliveries including cesarean section and I would never change DR Pena from other dr in my life. Dr Pena Good Bless your hands and more years to come to help people that need to be helped.... He gave me his cell phone since day # 1 had I would never forget that ... Steph

Doctor Pena saved my mother's life. He performed a Hysterectomy and found cancer. He cure her on that one surgery. We believe she avoided cancer treatments because he acted so quickly to operate my mom. We will forever be grateful & pray that God continues to bless him to perform the gift he was given.

I went to Dr Pena's office after a friend's recommendation .I had discharged myself just a week ago from Mercy's Hospital and abandoned my previus OB at 37 weeks pregnant .Aside of being very polite and respectful Dr. Pena took the time to explained to me that he would take care of my case, even being so far along in my pregnancy .Even though he would not consult me that day because hi needed my medical records beforehand he asked the nurse to check my vitals and he himself called the previous doctor's office to request my records ASAP considering how close I was of having baby .Of course not a chance they sent the records in time,apparently they have up to 30 days to do so by law, but it worth the effort and I definitely loved his actions.I ended up having baby with his Residency college who was on call that day I went into labor.His attentiveness struck us in a very positive way .I recommend him highly!
