Quelle honte!!!!!!!

First, I would like to point out that the picture is not of Dr. David Patterson. I can tell by all the previous excellent ratings that we are all talking about the same Doctor but somehow you have posted the wrong picture.

I have been Dr. Patterson's patient for about 5 years and I have never had a better, more caring, professional, knowledgeable, empathetic Dr. He always goes above and beyond. Dr Patterson goes out of his way to make you comfortable, his examinations are always thorough.

Every time I have been to see Dr. Patterson his C.D.N waiting room has been full of people of every ethnicity & I have had conversations with many of his other patients in both French & English & we have all agreed that he is the best doctor we have had. Which is why I was so surprised to find out that Dr. Patterson is no longer able to work due to the fact that he did not pass his French exam. I hope the OQLF realizes that having a much needed excellent Dr. is more important than the occasional mistake of le instead of la. I need not remind anyone of the recent mistake of the health minister calling Anglos special needs due to mistake in translation or Pastagate....This Doctor is more than able to practice in French & English and as a Registered Nurse I can assure you that this is one of the best Doctor's I have ever met. I hope that the OQLF puts our health ahead of the occasional grammatical error that I am sure even Francophone Doctors make.
I am so hoping that Dr Patterson is able to get back to work so I know health wise that I am again in good hands.

I've never had a better experience with a doctor than I've had with Dr Patterson.

I brought along a fair bit of cynicism and wariness to my first meeting with Dr Patterson, but he promptly earned my trust and respect. Right away I was struck by his professionalism and knowledge, while being just blown away by the levels of care, attentiveness and sensitivity he demonstrated.

More than any other doctor I've met, Dr Patterson seems genuinely invested in the overall health of his patients, and will encourage a thorough examination of any and all treatment options before resorting to medication – rather than (apparently all too common) ticking of boxes and prescribing of pills to close a case and move onto the next as soon as possible. He has always put great effort into making me feel listened to and cared for – always making the time to fully answer all of my questions, to fully explain what he recommend for treatment and why, and to address any concerns I might have about it.

Truly, I can't recommend him enough.

As an immigrant residing in Canada since 2005, I have encountered numerous Doctors. However, I haven’t come across an M.D like Dr. David Patterson!
Doctor Patterson has the traits of an ideal doctor and is the definition of a model Doctor! He is Empathetic, Humane and thorough! Dr Patterson tries to understand what his patient is feeling physically and emotionally. He is caring compassionate and kind.
It is important for a patient to feel that his M.D is being thorough and attentive to every detail rather than feeling dismissed, rushed and intimidated!
I left Doctor Patterson’s Office feeling relieved, as I had the chance to discuss with him all my concerns and thoughts whilst, he patiently listened and explained to me.

Dr. Patterson is the definition of professionalism. Anyone would be lucky to be under his care. I could not remember the last time I had a full physical exam when I first met him. Perhaps because I never had an assigned GP before but nevertheless I am impressed by the care he takes listening and investigating for any signs/symptoms that you may not have mentioned spontaneously. I sometimes wish he would prescribe a bit more easily but must admit my issues then were mostly moderate cosmetic problems and I think he felt we could manage without meds. That is not a problem though when you actually need medication for real medical problems. Wait time is usually about an hour which is not too bad considering how busy these guys are and how unpredictable their schedules are. When he first got here in Montreal the clinic where he worked was bad. He sinced moved his practice to Clinique Diamant and that was a huge improvement. The picture of him in a brown corduroy jacket is not him, unless there are two GPs named Dr. D Patterson in Montreal...
