The worst experience I have ever had with a doctor

Terrible experience. When looking for a new physician, I came across Dr. Mettle. During my first visit, she told me she likes to see her new patients a total of 3 times to get to know them better (1st - introduction, 2nd - go over medical history, 3rd - annual physical). Each time, I had felt very rushed. This was quiet frustrating as I booked appointments with her each time. She is always running late and I am often stuck waiting between 30 minutes to an hour. Every time I see her, she rushes me out of the exam room (which doesn’t make sense seeing how she’s always late - how can you be so behind schedule when you don’t even spend time with your clients)?. Each appointment (total of 4) I had asked her to flush my ears out as they were quiet clogged. She’d always say she doesn’t have time and to do it at my next visit; always the same answer, the schedule it for another day. During my physical exam she asked me if I’ve been told that there is a lot of wax in my ear ... well DUH I’ve asked you to clean it 4 times over a span of 2 months.

During my physical exam, I had asked her for new birth control bills as I was unfortunately not reacting well to my current ones. She completely forgot to give me a prescription. I had to ask the receptionist to obtain it. As she was busy with another client, the receptionist said she would get it and fax it to my local pharmacy and call me when it’s been sent... next day, no call. I had to call her office to get them to fax it over as they forgot.

Dr. Mettle is not only extremely unorganized but has extreme tardiness in terms of appointments. Would not recommend to anyone.

Absouletly horrible with respecting peoples times! Waiting over 2 hours to see and I'm still waiting...HORRIBLE!

Dr. Mettle is awesome. She takes her time with you and is very knowledgeable. I feel really safe & taken care of with her.

Dr Mettle is an amazing doctor. She is professional and knowledgeable. She makes you feel comfortable asking questions no matter how ridiculous they may seem. She is very warm and inviting which is exactly what you want in a doctor. She doesn't push her opinions on you about things like flu shots, instead just offering a medical opinion. The only downfall is how hard it is to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame.

Dr. Mettle is professional, thoughtful, and thorough. Her advice (more exercise, wearing support hose, and such) given gently and with an encouraging smile. This is especially important for older patients, so we don`t feel that our good days are over.

I love dr. Mettle !! She is always on time, listens to what you have to say and doesn't rush you! She is also one of the nicest people I have ever met! Amazing doctor!!

She doesn't know anything. She's a horrible doctor. Everytime I've been to her she never knows what's wrong and doesn't do anything for me. BAD
