Her office staff recently changed and they are the worst staff of any office ive ever seen. They WILL NOT CALL YOU BACK. You wait 3+ days, and if you try to call and remind them sooner, they are rude. The receptionist always sounds snotty and another who answers the phone is condescending. Dr. Maxwell herself is great but her staff makes it not even worth it, i can go to an average dr. with an average staff and be happier than a good dr. and a terrible staff. She needs to fire the two girls who answer the phone and whoever is responsible for returning the nurse line question/calls and then MAYBE i would consider going back to her. There is absolutely no reason to keep staff like that around. I would rather see new staff every day rather than deal with bad staff permanently. If she cant show shes fixing the problem, no point sticking around. Theres plenty of drs. in murf.

Incompetent. Dr. Maxwell has very limited knowledge or interest in any medicine other than skin. Failure to report test results, return calls, emails and provide reports. I would not recommend her to anyone.

My experience was the worst! I was told over the phone that my test result revealed a minor issue but when I went in for my appt the NP gave me paperwork for something that sounded similar but was TOTALLY different. I questioned it b/c the paperwork said it was a genetic disease and that most people don't live past their 30's, I was 31. When I questioned the NP about it she said that was the paperwork she was told to give me. I asked to speak with Dr. Maxwell and was told she was leaving. I firmly said I need her to explain this to me...which do I have? Dr. Maxwell barged into the room and yelled (yes, yelled) at me. Told me I had to right to demand to speak to her...said she was late to a program for her son. I asked her to look at the paperwork...she yanked it out of my hand and slammed it down on the table and said she didn't need to read it. I walked out of the office in tears and scared that I was going to die. No apologies were ever made and I never went back.

Went to her about 9 months and it was mistakes one right after another.Sent me to get mamogram at a lab she said they don't use.Did two biopsys and never called me with results. When I called them was told didn't see in chart where I had them. Finally got the results.Sent to skin cancer dr in Nashville. Gave me wrong phone number and wrong address. After got there, had not even sent reports to dr. After original mamogram, had to get follow up mamo and ultersound, Turn out to be good. But three months later, got a call that my mamo was bad and needed to get ultersound, Did not see in my chart that I had done that three months earlier. Needless to say, I no longer go to this office.

I love the fact that Dr. Maxwell doesnt try to put you on ever drug out there to mask your problems. She takes a REAL look at what may be causing them instead of medicating you. I love her honesty, and could tell after only 1 visit she wants to help treat you individually instead of putting you in a category and on a "medication cocktail" your symptoms fall into. I personally like the natural approach. And appreciate she isnt one of the many doctors that have succumb to prescribing unneccessary drugs just because they claim to help?So that in a few years you can no longer get that miracle cure because it may now be the cause of some other problem. And the drug companys continue to get rich and the patients have major side affects or addictions..So God bless Dr. Maxwell for what you stand for. I felt liked you had MY best interest at heart. Thank you!

almost every time i have went to her i get a spill on weight control and the fatty liver and she pushes Zija wonder drug on every body.she needs to concentrate on what is wrong with the people instead of sell them products or preaching Zija is the answer to every thing.what a movie on fatty liver the one time i took my wife in for being sick.i think she has lost site of being a good doctor.

Dr. Maxwell is great. Her pa not so much. I avoid her at all costs. Her phlebotomist is rude and unprofessional. I like Dr. Maxwell a great deal so I keep going to her. I look over the rest because of that.
