Dr. Russell was extremely knowledge and helpful regarding my menopausal issues as well as my questions regarding alternative treatments and meditation. She has been very positive, takes time to listen and was very thorough. So grateful that I found her!

Dr. Russell is absolutely amazing. Our daughter was measuring a bit small so we went to a specialist. The specialist would tell us one thing then at our next appointment another and we always left in tears.
After discussing with Dr. Russell, she said she was told everything looked good and told us no more specialist visits were required. Our daughter is perfectly fine and measuring in the 88%.
In addition, she was incredibly supportive of our desire to attempts a VBAC and when I failed to go into labor, she was so sweet and understanding that having a repeat c-section was far from devastating to us.
I would recommend Dr. Russell to anyone looking to expand their family.

Using an OBGYN was not at all in my birth plan. We went with the Midwives at Evergreen but after pushing for over 5 hours and making very little progress we needed an intervention as I no longer had the energy to keep it going. We were fortunate to have Dr. Russell on staff that night. As soon as the midwives called for her, she was there and explaining to me what was about to happen. She was very calm and professional and set me at ease. She walked me through the vacuum extraction and when it came time for it, she was an amazing coach. A csection was the last thing we wanted as we wanted a natural birth and we were lucky Dr. Russell was on that night as we found out later, she is all about using the least amount of intervention as she can. It's refreshing to know that there are still doctors out there who don't immediately cop out and order csections. We will go with the midwives again in the future, but I hope if anything goes wrong again that she is on staff. Thank you, Dr. Russell!

Dr. Dawn Russell is a rock and roll superstar. Zero complaints, only sunshine and one perfect and healthy baby. Dr. Russell is not there to be Oprah, she is a doctor, a scientist and Ivy League educated at that. She is very good at dealing with neurotic moms, such as me, but also keeps it real...which pregnant women need. She may not fit everyone's personality, she did mine, but she fits everyone's medical needs because it just doesn't get any better than Dawn and her knowledge about babies. Thank you Dawn for being my rock and roll superstar gynecologist..and that deserves an exclamation point! Dusty Locke

If you are having a normal pregnancy she might be ok! After all human being have been giving birth forever. But if there is a complication do not expect any help, knowledge, or good practice from her. You are better off without her.

Dr. Russell is amazing. She answered all of my questions no matter how silly or awkward they were. She also bases her answers on scientific fact not "old wives tales". She was also very supportive in my decision to have my baby naturaly (no drugs). When things didn't go as planned during delivery she completely supported my decision to keep on trying to give birth normally. Unfortunately due to circumstances (fever, heart rate drop) we both made the decision for a csection. Also, even if she isn't in the room with you 24/7, she still checks her charts to monitor your progress. I would definately recommend her to others.

Dr Russel is there to keep you spirits high, she does not really research and/or answers your questions. In addition, she failed to do a simple blood test for my condition and had me take pills for about 6 month to try to get pregnant. If I would have been successful, there would have been high probability of baby suffering life long health issues, not mentioning that all pills and blood tests cost me $$$. Totally disrecommend, hopefully will have better luck with other docs. I will be filing complaint for gross negligence with the board is such thing is possible.

Dr. Russell's bedside manner is hugely lacking. After taking an hour to fill out the new patient questionnaire, that seemed to show they cared about the answers, I saw Dr. Russell and realized she had not even glanced at the questionnaire. She did not address my concerns or fears. She told me that their office is there to treat the symptoms, *figuratively* patted me on the head and told me to pop a pill and all would be fine. I went in to her office with an expectation that I would have my fears eased and have some of my questions answered, I left feeling as though I had just seen a medical professional that had not had any "new" training in her field for the last 30 years (she can't be older than 48). I will not only not be back, I will make sure any friend of mine suffering from anything other than pregnancy-related issues doesn't go to see her
