I arrived for my visit with an increasingly distended stomach - and she lifts her arms up in the air and says: what am I supposed to do with this, I don't know how to deal with this. I felt like saying, maybe go back to school. But I did not say anything. She finally did order an abdominal ultrasound and blood tests which were done right away, I really appreciate that and that I could get the blood test results within a week from her office. Let's hope this will provide answers for my condition.

Very knowledgeable, nice staff too! Found what was wrong after a sole set of tests and she prescribed the right medications which solved my problem

It took me a long time to get a response from the secretary but the wait was well worth it. I am very fortunate to have Dr . Shiff as my GP. She recently helped me through a really hard time in my life and I am really grateful for her support. She was very patinet and tried a few medications until we found the right one that worked for me. She is also very punctual but I never feel like she is rushing me off the phone or out of the office. She just delivered my nieces baby and I was told it was also a wonderful experience .

Was my family doctor for 7 years. I tried to love her but left her office crying more often than not, as she dismissed me and blamed most of my symptoms on anxiety when in fact there was other medical issues going on. I feel like because I was a bit younger than her she was very dismissive and almost treated me like I was some annoying teenager. I felt awful leaving her office most of the time, felt unheard and belittled. I appreciate the positive experiences I did have but unfortunately they weren’t frequent enough to keep her as my doctor. Glad she delivered my first child but otherwise it wasn’t worth seeing her anymore if I leave her office distressed. Maybe I was just too complex for her, she means well but was too dismissive and treated me like a teenager.

Dori is the best Dr I’ve seen and I know a lot of them. Her patience and caring are only secondary to her knowledge and professionalism. She’s a beautiful person inside and out

Literally the BEST GP in Montreal. I don't see her very often (good news I guess!) but the times I do, she is so caring, so attentive and always goes out of her way.

She followed me through 2 pregnancies and showed up for both births when she didn't have to. She now follows both my children. So very knowledgeable and an excellent listener (which cannot be said for many doctors). She will go out of her way to find a solution. Also love her secretary Natasha.

An absolute angel! She is a miracle worker.
It’s impossible to write how amazing Dori is in this comment box. Long story short I will always be thankful and greatful to Dr. Shiff for following us through our pregnancy and most importantly for being there during the complicated birth.
I will never forget that moment. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
