After having an ultrasound completed, my elderly mother was referred to Dr. Martin for a suspected baker’s cyst in her knee. Without referring to the Ultrasound, he watched her walk 10 steps and said “It’s arthritis, learn to live with the pain.” She has been in extreme pain ever since and we are desperate. You have no choice in PA, so sadly this doctor probably won’t be held accountable.

If you get a referral to Dr. Martins, you are the lucky one. After an appointment with an injured knee, I realized then he has not only excellent knowledge, but also some excellent skills, combined with a great ability of examining thoroughly, judging reasonably, and making sound conclusions. He took time and explained everything about my knee.

Had a botch job of a knee surgery by this doctor that is Un-repairable. Get a second opinion!! Highly do not recommend . Heard many horror stories after of him permanently disabling patients with hips and knees. He is friendly, and has a good sense of humour but I wish I never went to him. I too, signed documents for him to fix anything else he seen that needed to be fixed when being put under. He did not do the surgery that we discussed prior and completed a operation that according to 3 physiotherapists that the surgery was not common practice, out dated and proven to not have high success rate. As well his report after surgery did not reflect what he told my family doctor. I am a young mother of young kids and he destroyed my ability to daily living and activities. The Pain is very intense and knee function is very restricted. Don’t take the risk and see another doctor!

Got a right acl and meniscus done and the surgery was a success. Only issue I had is the lack of rehabilitation In the first 6 weeks.

Had my first knee done with this Doctor and he was fantastic. I am waiting for surgery on the second knee, and can hardly wait! He never rushes, is very thorough and a pleasure to talk to with a wonderful sense of humor.

he is not recommended at all and if he is in ur way you must watch what he is doing , he can take you to a desastre always go to other opinion , not only depended on him , he can be fatal duo to his low experience, he look nice and a cool dr but once it come to surgery i don’t think he is that professional.
