Last week I had to see Dr. Hessami again. Out of curiosity I looked at some of the comments of some recent patients. I think it is exceedingly difficult to have to interact with the general populace. Every doctor knows that and must be prepared to live with all that entails.
What gets to me me, as one of her patients, is the arrogance and entitlement of some of these people.
As an old guy, unfortunately I had to see too many medical professionals that just could not care less.
Back to Dr. Hessami. I often wonder what keeps her going. She is passionate about her work( she found my melanoma) she cares, she is extremely competent, she follows up, she has a competent network of referrals. She is a nice person.
So, what is your problem? You hat wait too long ? I can tell you why. There simply aren’t enough Doctors of her caliber and the waiting line is long.
May be, try a walk in clinic instead.

Horrible. 2.5-hour waiting and 5-min seeing the doctor.

Had a appointment booked and still waited over 2 hours just to see the doctor. She was overbooked as the waiting room was full when I arrived. She’s also a terrible specialist so don’t waste you time and just go somewhere else.

2.5-3 hour wait for medicinal visit. 2 hour wait for PRP. I’ve never waited so long for any doctor. I’ve done PRP elsewhere, and I’m always done within the hour. This is standard at every visit.

Dr Hessami is an amazing and well educated dermatologist. She was one of very few doctors that was able to treat my husband with a rare skin disease on his leg . She is very knowledgeable and helped my husband when no one else could . It's great to know we actually have experienced doctors . Her office was busy but ran smoothly . Very blessed to have been referred to her !

Not recommended. Not responsible and caring. Just thinks about money unfortunately some of these doctors think they are the God with having lots of ego but not bedside manner. Doesn't care and just not built for this specialty. It is good that at least we can write our concerns somewhere

Funny enough I happen to be writing my review the same day I see a review below mine but my appointment was in person and last week. I have seen dr hessami for acne back in high school and she fully got rid of my acne within 5 months, from a face full of acne not absolutely no acne whatsoever. I currently see her for prp and i love it. The most affordable prp i have found by a doctor and her nurse is absolutely amazing gentleman. I would recommend dr hessami no matter how long the wait. She cares, but i would ask you show some care for our healthcare professionals too. Reviews like the one below are clearly made only by those who leave negative reviews and never bother leaving positive reviews. Dr hessami is a 10/10 recommend. I drive from Thornhill to Scarborough to see her

Very indifferent doctor. Waited for one hour and forty minutes! for a 10minutes call. Really????didnt even bother listen to my problem. Only talked about microblading in her office for earning more money. Avoid this doctor. very irresponsible
