Biography
Dr. Thomas Su is the owner and cosmetic surgeon of Artistic Lipo a full time clinic specializing in awake-only liposuction since 2007. Prior to this, since 2005, he also performed a full spectrum of other non-invasive cosmetic procedures. Dr. Su also practiced internal medicine from 1997 to 2005. What makes Dr. Su unique among cosmetic surgeons is that few have any artistic background or training. Dr. Su has had a passion for art since high school and studied human figure drawing, painting, and sculpting in college, culminating in a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. His love of art of the human figure shows in all his work and is the reason for his high degree of perfectionism when it comes to liposuction. Compared to other cosmetic or plastic surgeons who perform many different surgeries, Dr. Su concentrates on only liposuction. He has developed skills and a level of expertise that few surgeons doing liposuction will ever master. Dr. Su is the innovator of the Interactive Lipo Method and Celebrity Arms Sculpting. The Interactive Lipo Method is a culmination of techniques derived from Dr. Su’s background as a figure artist and sculptor. It incorporates techniques that a master sculptor would use whether it was to sculpt wood, clay, or stone. These are techniques that aren’t taught as part of a liposuction course or curriculum. Dr. Su presents his method at different cosmetic surgery society meetings including the AACS and ASCOP and teaches these techniques to other surgeons. He also authored the book Celebrity Arms in a Day – Body Sculpting with the New Interactive Lipo Method.

I've used Dr Su for several surgeries, he has changed my life. I had Lipedema, my arms and legs were terrible, he gave me absolutely beautiful arms and legs, incredible. I think he's the best at liposuction in this country.
