One of the family physicians, has the right connections and also knows the right procedures, has surgical experience, never afraid to say no when something is wrong for you. Provides real time access to medical resources. Took me through many injuries, rehab, surgical recommendations, etc.

Excellent family doctor, been her patient for several years now. She was recommended to me by another doctor after my original doctor retired. Knowledgeable, clear in her assessments, takes the time needed to really listen and provide explanations for her recommendations, pulls no punches, a consummate professional.

Having a doctor/health network that's actually on top of my healthcare has made all the difference for me. If I bring forward a concern, it's never brushed aside and I'm taken seriously. I feel like I'm being taken care of. Every time I expect there to be some issue, Dr Akula/the staff in the network have done the work to make things as smooth as possible. I really appreciate the work they do.

Great and wonderful front office staff do their job quickly and efficiently. Dr Akula has always taken her time to understand a medical issue completely before jumping to conclusions. She has the ability to stand by her assessments in the face of questions and doubt (a lot of previous drs would waffle when confronted with questions / concerns / possible proof contrary to diagnosis). Overall very happy with my interactions with Dr Akula and her support staff especially when it comes to my toddler and his ongoing issues stemming from him being in daycare (germ central!).

Doesn’t know very much, always sending you for same tests with nothing different and not pin pointing the actual area, problem still there after 6 months then sugggest pills to bandaid the issue cause she doesn’t know, nothing like using the services/system to make money ! Find another-she’ll just say I don’t know & send you on your merry way!

So happy to be under the care of Dr.Akula! She is timely yet appointments do not seem rushed. She is also very thorough and asks numerous questions to paint a better picture of what issue(s) could be at play.

Overall disappointment from the team. Neglected health care, improper scheduling, rude staff at the grand valley location. Overall this team has broken down walls that can not be mended. As a mental health patient in a crisis i went and was told i shouldn't be there and they couldn't do anything for me. This doctor seems to be unaware of what her NP's are doing and the due diligence of the office is atrocious. Waiting 3 months for a referral for a psych and still the doctor claims to not have seen it. But be careful she will send you a letter in the mail if you speak up for your own healthcare!
