Dr. Costa is one f the finest Dr.'s and men I have ever known. He is extremely knowledgable, compassionate and professional. The office in recent years has become associated with Lourdes so there have been changes. Patients have to understand that frequently doctors are required to spend more time with some patients than with others, which may cause a delay, however, in turn Dr. Costa always takes his time with his patients and encourages their input and REALLY LISTENS to the patients. yes, it is difficult to get in to see him at times, which is only a testament to how wonderful a doctor he really is! I have been his patient for many, many years and I am also a NJ Registered Nurse so I do have some insight. You won't find a better Primary Care Provider!

I have been a patient of Dr. Costa since he was working with Dr. Goldberg. Without being too dramatic, he literally saved my life. Because of his knowledge of me as a patient and a person, he suggested some tests which I thought were unnecessary, but they proved to be life saving. I've always consider him a caring and thorough doctor, but that diagnosis made me realize how knowledgeable he is. And how much he pays attention to his patients. He also encourages input from his patients, so your care is truly a conversation, not just the doctor making decisions. "What would you like us to do?" or "Do you want to ....?" Are constant question during my visits. His diagnosis seem to be a combination of his professional knowledge, his knowledge of his patients, his compassion, and his dialog with his patients. My visits with him always make me feel like I'm the only patient he has to care for, not one in a string of patients. He's one of the finest doctors and people I know.

I visited Dr Costa for the first time approx. 2 years ago. Although he was a very good doctor, i found that the office staff was not helpful, and made it very difficult to make an appointment with him. I understand he is a popular physician, but I am now looking for a new physician because I was taken off of his schedule once, and never put on again. i have seen two other doctors in the office since he is so busy. When you have a recurring illness, i do not suggest this office because there is no consistancy with what physician you see.

Dr. Costa has been my family doctor since he started with Dr. Ronald Goldberg many many years ago. He is the finest Doctor I have know. HE goes out of his way to give not only myfamily the best care that he can give but to all who come tothe office. The practice has had many changes in the last few years as it is now run my Lordes Medical Ass. It is missing the family feel it had before this change, but Dr. COsta has not changed, he still does everything he can for everyone he treats. Not only is he a woinderful doctor but a good man and me and my family consider him a member of the family! If you have never seen him please do so you will enjoy the way he treats you the care he give. Don't let the some ofthe office staff make you feel like you are just a $$ amount, because once you see Dr. COsta you will always go back to see him. Dr. Costa is with out a doubt the BEST of the BEST in NJ!!

Dr. Costa is great! My family has been going to him for over 20 years. However, his staff is not so helpfull. Apparently there are new regulations to get referrals through the office. If you have not visited the office within the past year you need to come in for a check up before receiving a referral. This means if you have been healthy for the past year and sprain your ankle you have to wait a week to get into the office to receive a referral for an xray. Most people would rather pay the extra money and go to the ER. In my opinion, if you've had my file for 20 years I shouldn't have a week wait for an xray.

Dr. Costa is one of the finest doctors I have ever known. I have been a patient for over 13 years. He is compassionate, caring and interested in his patients. He listens and HEARS what you have to say. He always takes time for me and has helped me thru so many tough times. Doctors should really take a cue from Dr. Costa. His a great doctor and a fine human being. One in a Million!
